According to the Daily Mirror, Juventus have offered just £9m (€12.5m) for Chelsea talent Oscar.
That sum would be half what the Stamford Bridge club paid for him in 2012 and therefore rejected out of hand.
This is not the first time that Juve have been linked with a move for Oscar, but the proposal suggested by the English paper is surprisingly low.
Another option would be to take the Brazilian on loan with already-agreed mandatory option to buy in 2016.
The Bianconeri have already secured two big players for next season, signing Paulo Dybala from Palermo and Sami Khedira as a free agent after his spell with Real Madrid.
Between cash, bonuses and player exchanges, Dybala is expected to cost almost €40m
