Latest news: Sevilla is willing to sell him in installments but they don't want to lower the price. They want to sell him for 40mln euros payable in 3 years.

However, we think the price is too high.

For me the fair price would be something between €30-35M in the current market. €25M would be completely undervaluing him imo, guys like Zaza and Lemina go for those sums.

Even 30 is reasonable, maybe overpaying a little.

Zaza is a striker and they're usually more expensive. But if someone buys Lemina for 25... They're either stupid or believe he's still got potential.

I still can't believe we let Vidal go for 37 mil. :sergio:

If this was Bayern's forum and it was 2012, you'd all be going batshit mad about the idea of spending 45mil on a limited no nonsense DM as Javi Martinez.

He doesnt do dribbles mate, he's shid.

9 months later Bayern destroyed all and everything with Martinez proving to be the cog the machine needed

Bayern comparisions are more and more frequent this days but if we want to be compared to them first thing we should do is to show our strength to the players like they did in Ribery to Real saga. Imo it all started then for them, when they refused to toy bigger club with their star player.

Vidal went well under his market value for some reason. €25M might be a push for Lemina but there has been quite a few rumors about €20M valuation. I don't think anyone will be disappointed at the end of the season with us paying a bit over the odds for N'Zonzi. I think he will surprise quite a few here if he ends up coming to Juve.

But if Martinez was coming to Juve you'd find someway to justify the transfer regardless of how shit he is

Except Martinez was way younger, versatile and simply way better to justify his price of 40m. I'd take N'Zonzi for a reasonable price as we need a bully in midfield, but I'd rather put that 40mil to a DM that puts actual value to that money, like Fabinho for example who is 6 years younger, way more versatile if needed (if Licht leaves he can play RB), tackles more, intercepts more and even offers something in offense when needed.
