Yeah, thanks for that
All I see is he has a better success rate with tackles but commits them way less, same with take-ons. Good with his head due to his height and a decent passer. Doesn't change the fact that he tackles less and intercepts less on average, like I stated in my original post which you called a lie. That's also a very nitpicked list of statistics. I also never stated N'Zonzi is a bad player, he's good and I'd take him probs over Matuidi for example, but he is definitely not as good as Fabinho and investment wise a total crapshoot compared to him, due to age, lack of versatility, activeness with his defensive work and lack of attacking prowess, even if that's not a priority for his type of player.

You like this guy? Not sure I've seen your opinion of him. Short summary pls :D
Yeah dont think there is even a chance he will flop with us with kind of approach he would bring. Only downside might be price in current oversaturated market but otherwise excellent choice.

Quoting few posts I made in past year about him (few from closed threads):

I rate him quite a bit so I don't mind if we do. Only downside is his long term use age wise, but he really has taken big stride since EPL days.

He is not my ideal choice but our midfield is so physically weak now that adding a 2 meter tall house DM who covers ground extremely well (while being good with the ball) will come very handy. Unlikely to get bullied by likes of Genoa or Inter in midfield with players like him.

N'zonzi is seriously one of those low key dominating DMs who can elevate a team signficantly based on Sevilla performances (2 meter tall smooth beast), but I'm not sure if he can play with Marchisio (tho way stronger defender then Claudio, so maybe he can), but he is the type to free up Pjanic and et all alot by being next to them (would be insane upgrade to have him in squad instead of Hernanes, unlikely to see likes of Genoa bully us then when Marchisio cant play). If used right N'zonzi will make some top team really happy soon IMO.

Why are people rating Tolisso over N'zonzi? If anything the latter has shown bigger impact in most ways, he locks down midfield completely. Tolisso is more all around action midfielder, I'm rarely sold on his overall level when I seen him play in EL or league. Has quite bit of potential but unsure if he could dominate midfield like N'zonzi can defensively.

Plus Tolisso fits better for 3 man midfield so question is what we look for in them.

Nzonzi is a good passer, doesn't attack but keeps possesion well(not just a big body but smart enough to keep things ticking ala busquets) . He is much much better at winning the ball and holding down the fort, his physical presence is fairly insanely all towering dominant. Defenitely could use this approach to free up rest of midfield to focus on attack. I seen him almost single handedly dominate Barca and Real mids defensively. If we have instead of Khedira both Pjanic and Dybala could attack more and wingers won't need to be 2nd fullbacks as much.

Fabinho could be useful in this way too tho not as good ball winner, but the added bonus he is better running with the ball.

Good post.

But if you see him in few games, you will realize his strength is smart positioning and good holding cover then too much reactive movement or tackling. He is pretty much there to be a sturdy wall and is great with keeping ball/distributing it. He doesnt commit himself to tackle too much, makes sure to nip things before thats necessary, you wont ever see him slide tackling but he will win you many balls still. His towering presence is generally too much for most opponents.
