I'm not a Bale fanboy by all means, but this is just laughable and annoying sometimes to read. You make it sound as if Sassuolo, Chievo and co. have such a better defense. The fact is that there are better teams overall in La Liga than in Serie A, as can be seen in Europe.

The problem with Football fans in the 2010's and modern football is this (actually make it the 00's), they make any player who had a good short run become a God to their eyes. A couple decent seasons, one good season, boom, worth 100 millions, kids going crazy about how good he is. Not even Messi is worth that money and he drove that Barcelona team for half a decade giving them titles and breaking records.

I'm not denying that. Still doesn't make him a bad/decent player though. It's laughable to question every normal thing he does and expect him to do it much better and claim others could have done it better just because of his price tag.

What i questioned was the nature of his goals yesterday, if anything he was in the right place at the right time and that can be a plus. But when the media start calling it the perfect hattrick like it was in fact special, it kinda annoys the hell out of me.
