What you guys actually try to agree on, is the step down by barcelona

They were top dog in europe for years. THE team to beat, the reference in attack and demolishion.

When Italy explained the peasant fuck world how to cope with tiki taki, and overpowered team started taking some motherfucking notes, a decline began. When the true hero of barcelona, who is offcourse Xavi, started to decay, this decline became much faster.

Today, barcelona is no longer the top team. They are now one of the contenders for the Cl. No longer clear top favorite. Like in the league, where their domminance has come to an end.

IS barcelona finished ? Offcourse not. Is tiki taki finished ? Nope, but its no longer seemingly invincible.

However, Their decay continues. They still got a stacked team with insane talent. But the balance is off. And they can no longer disguise the lack of duel power and defensive bravado in the midfield.

And here is the deal. They should probably invest in a few players, perhaps let some go (no, not messi). But with the transfer embargo, that becomes hard.

So no, Barcelona isnt finished. But it lost the status it had for about 5 years. (they lost that last season actually)

Football goes through cycles. They'll be back again.I mean this team generates almost 500m yearly revenue something Italian teams cud only dream of so thats hard to ignore.
Same thing applies to United as well.

Lovin this game. Ball not going in for Barca. Keeper earning his coin and some poor finishing from Barca. Saw a bicycle attempt from Aduriz earlier wow. Bilbao worth their lead atm imho

Look at the pace of this game and compare it with our games.
Italian Football will never be like that. Brazilian Football is the same way, slow paced, lethargic, tortoise-like performances week in, week out.

Although we've been seeing subtle changes in teams like Napoli and Roma that can only come from having foreign managers.

Exactly. On the other hand, their defensive side is shit.
