X, what's your opinion about our mercato?
Osvaldo to Boca, Acosta to Estudiantes, our team without Forlin etc.

Also, Sanchez Mino to Estudiantes. Didn't expected it, when he transfered to Torino.

Basically it's a new league/cup that will unite all Americas (North, Central and South) and replace the Libertadores. At least that's it's goals.

Those are teams that might should be the "founders":

Brasil: Corinthians, Santos, São Paulo, Palmeiras, Flamengo, Fluminense, Botafogo, Vasco da Gama, Grêmio, Internacional, Atlético Mineiro e Cruzeiro

Argentina:
Boca Juniors, River Plate, Independiente, Racing Club, San Lorenzo, Estudiantes, Lanús, Newells Old Boys, Velez Sársfield e Arsenal

Uruguai:
Peñarol, Nacional e Danubio

Chile:
Colo-Colo, Universidad de Chile e Universidad Católica

México:
América, Cruz Azul, Chivas e Monterrey

Estados Unidos:
DC United, L.A. Galaxy, Colorado Rapids, Chicago Fire e Houston Dynamo

lanus really? :p anyhoos this has US branding all over it, sounds like an NFL like org for football, could be good money wise, but the old sentimental in me will miss the odd boca-gimansia jujuy :p
Well, those are the supposed founders, but that doesn't mean other teams won't participate. Venezulean, Colombian, etc teams could still be invited.

SA's football got to it's worst state in history, something has to be done and Conmebol is nothing but a bunch of incompetents and amateurs. People can say what they want about the US, but it's people how to make their events and how they know.

And yes, it's something along those lines.... It'd be the best thing that could ever happen to the sport on this side of the world. Think about it, it would be a direct equivalent to the Champions League, maybe even in audience.

It'd do us all good. :D Good for the American to be able to play against such historical and traditional teams and good for SA because we suck at marketing. The US would sell this shit like they were selling gold and finally put a western league on the spotlight worldwide. Libertadores has been dead for a while.

 Nah, we cool.
