Were gonna need to do a hell of a lot more if were to keep up with the milanese clubs even inter have had a good transfer campaign, theyve brought in veron, davids and burdisso and probly a few other players too. Its not looking good for us unless we get our acts 2gether:down:

They're good players no doubt, but Crespo and Davids are world class. Cannavaro could return to his world class self, but Emerson just isn't that good. Emerson is the guy you want when you can't get Davids.

Honestly, Emerson is better than Davids. IMO Davids gets way too much cards, and isn't that consistent like Emo. Plus, Emo is younger than Davids.

btw I don't know what's so special about Crespo??? IMO he didn't make Milan stronger, as they already had a striking force.

Nah, I'd take Emerson any day and so would many with me.

They now have 2 excellent striking pairs, of course he's a big improvement from Borriello.

I think emerson is mileage better than davids, davids is getting old now and hes way off his game, he played ok in patches in the euro but a player like emerson is more likely to perform, he also respects juventus which towards the end of his career davids did not, IMO emerson would b the right man for the role and if he isnt who else could we get, after all its better than nothing...

Stop whining about not having enough star players people. Look at what Greece did with their mediacore (even thats too high a rating) lineup against the superstart line up of the French/Portugese. If Juve can play like a team with their current players they can beat Milan, Real Madrid, or any team basing their teams around superstars. I'm not saying Juve, dont buy some new defenders and players, but dont worry if Juves lineup is not as superstary as Inters, Milans, or Real Madrids.

And IMO, Stam was a mistake for Milan. They dont need him. Maldini is not the left-back he once was and doesnt want to play that position. Stam is a CB and a very defensive LB. Milan should have bought a younger defender instead of some 30+ year old guy (who is good, but not an investment). Last season, Milan relied very much on the attacking wings of Cafu and Pancaro, now if they replace Pancaro with the more defensive Stam, that will weaken their attacking options on the wings, since their midfielders are more centre attacking players.

Crespo deal was a bonus since it was free, but if you think about it, on JDTs form and Shevas incredible form, and Inzaghi out to make a mark, I can only see two of these four players (JDT and Pippo) loosing their touch a bit because of unimportant matches they will be allowed to play. A Striking partnership is a very delicate one, and can be very unsuccessful sometimes. If Ancelotti tries a rotation system with these four strikers, I can see some problems forming.

What Milan really needed this summer was 1 young CB, 1 young LB, one young winger and 1 young striker, rather than 2 veterans who are most probably past their primes. Don't get me wrong, Milan have the capabilities of winning big time this year, but in order for them to continue winning big time, each season they are going to need to buying new players (since each season, a few of their players would be entering the retirment stage because of age).

Agree Mafia!

I also think that Milan won't be a real team next season. 1 star defender and one star stiker will always have to sit on the bench, and with Rui Costa also sitting there, I see a lot of unhappy players and no teamwork!

I agree totaly with what your saying persian, football is definately more about teamwork than individuals, i mean all we have 2 do is look at greece and last years CL to realise that, as long as Capello can get Juventus ticking right then we may not need anymore players, but this is a risk that IMO we cannot afford to take, we need at least 3 more players to allow us to challenge for CL and SA, no doubt it will come, but moggi aint half taking his time about it

Yea i would love to see a formation like that as it would get the best out of all the players, using that formation our defence would be like a brick wall, with Uja, Thur, and Leggro very few teams would be able to break past and using zamb and jank as wing backs would give use brilliant attacking options with both players hugely talented at attacking and defending when called upon, also the centre of our midfield would dominate play against almost any team, with maresca and emo operationg together with the option of nedved (IMO our best player) just ahead of them we would create vast ammounts of chances for our 2 finishers micc and trez upfront who are more than capable of scoring goals, ofcourse we would alternate miccoli with del piero and hopefully oddo would switch with janks/zamb giving us good strenght in depth.... lets jus hope it happens guys :cheesy:

Exactly, of course, its only natural that we need more defenders, but we dont need Ronaldos, Zidanes and Nestas to complete our team. Lets just cross our fingers and hope last season was a fluke (mess up my Lippi on the whole physcological thing) and hopefully Cappello can bring back the old spirited Juve. The Juve who fought every second of a game, no matter who they were playing with or who they were playing against.

FORZA JUVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :fero: :fero: :fero:
