- but with DP and Micco upfront and getting enough balls we'll be seeing some exciting football.
- with Maresca and Emerson we'd be able to play possesion football, which is a huge asset when your defence isn't THAT good(which ours isn't tbh, and probably won't be)

Don't get me wrong though, Mutu is very good and all. He is far from a neceassary transfer though.

Dominic, your formation once again is a hammer! Its a bit too offensive, but why not! maybe it would be better with Nedved playing in Nedveds role, with Jankulovski playing behind Del Piero. See, we have Zambo on the left, and he is our best gun. with jankulovski, Zambrotta could push more in front, but with Nedved, who won't stay in his position and is not a winger, Zambrotta won't have any protection, support or room to play.
and about mutu.........Capello seems to be a fan of Trez, and an even bigger one of Miccoli, so I doubt we will see Mutu! btw, can Mutu play right winger?

I think we could combine both. The possesion tactic with a very offensive Zambrotta.

im not sayin miccoli aint fast but imo mutu is faster, the guy has pace cumin out of his arse, theres no way we can actually check the quickest but i recon tht it is mutu, neway it dnt matter. Hopefully Miccoli will show his real quality this year and get regular football coz i really wanna watch tht guy at his best, as i do for mutu, CMON MUTU!!!!
Mutu is one of best players in Europe when he fits the squad.....neither one of DP or Micco have ever done what he did in SerieA.....second scorrer and first assistant....I would pick Mutu over them two any time....he is a great dribbler with a good pass and finishing.....a real strong and agile playmaking foward......he is devlishly fast and has a good balance(wich Miccoli and DP badly miss) add to that what I said earlyer......you have one of the best players in the world. But it seems that everyone forgott his SerieA days.....Im shure that then(if that forum existed) wanted him so badly.....I REST MY CASE.

Thats not gonna happen coz capello sed tht hes gonna keep zambo as a left back so the possibility of capello using that tactic is very low
As for the money spent on Mutu, i dont believe that it will b that much, maybe 5-10 mill which is a bargain for a player of mutus calibre, and roma r jus being difficult about emerson because of the way juve always get one over on them, the transfer will go through this year for what juve offer or if roma r stubborn then emerson will take a year off and come on a free next summer, win win situation!!
