My Juve FM08 save corrupted near the end of the 2013 season. Pissed me off. I have an older save but dont want to go back two years.

Thought about starting over with a new club, took Chelsea for the hell of it, but just didn't want to do all that work at the start of a game, so fuck it. I'm done with FM08.

Guess I'll see if I can pirate FM09 or just wait for FM10.

I have Legro as a 5th centre back in case of injuries and Salih as a backup because he can play both sides well.

I sold Momo for 16 million euro to Tottenham. Marchisio won the starting place anyways and I wanted someone with better passing skills and got a chance to sign Miguel Veloso for a fair price - 20 mil €.

Gio is doing well, he's been my first choice left wing since the start of the game, in his first season he had 7 goals and 14 assists and in the second 8 goals and 8 assists but in less games.
I guess he is decent enough to be a 5th choice center back especially with his low wages... but im thinking at the end of season 2 he is a goner for me... As far as Sali i been trying my best to get rid of him... transfer listed him since day one and has received offers from napoli and udinese but numb nuts always rejects them because the salary offered wasn't good enough?! So now I have him playing with my u-20 squad until his contract expires...

Gio has performed aaalllllriight nothing spectacular.. he seems to be lacking confidence and hasent been to consistent... I have Juan Mata / cassano (co ownership) who have been doing pretty good... I feel as if the game might bring down the players performance or make them get injured if there are to many players in their position...for instance at my left midfielder position I have cassano/gio/mata/nedved and one of them HAS to get injured, play piss poor or morale goes low every week...have you had any trouble with to many players for a certain position? Also do you have any suggestions about telling players to try new moves?? I am trying to get gio to score more by telling him to put it in the back of the net but the kid is being stubborn...

I got Montpellier to 3rd place of L1 in my 3rd year in charge, and then the next year, thanks to a final-stretch dip in form from Lyon, managed to win the league! My strategy has been to buy top young players (as many as I can get with my 6 million euro budget :/ ) while getting experienced players on loan or on free transfers. Got smashed in the CL, but managed to end the group with a nice 3-0 win over Leverkusen. of course, this year, i'm fucking drawn in a group with barca (again) Juve, and Rangers, so I'll be lucky to get a UEFA cup place. started slowly in the league, wasn't helped by my stars (Bojan, Henri Flory, and Lukman Haruna) being away at the Olympics. Luckily though, Marseille is the only team to have started really well, so I'm still in it. will be an interesting season, and I hope to god I can keep Bojan, he keeps refusing to sign a new contract, despite backing down from his (repeated) transfer requests everytime.

I've got a legit copy of football manager and I am looking everwhere for a database editor so I can put myself in the game :) but cant find it......

Did they remove the database editor from 2009?? If so that really sucks. Could anyone tell me where to find it?

No, there is a database editor.
Thanks for the help Zlatan!! ;)

By the way where did you get the facepacks and serie a logos etc from in your game?

I found the Editor under Start Menu>All Programs>Sports Interactive>Football Manager 2009. It's right there.
It wasn't there for me

I EVENTUALLY found it but it was under program files/steam/football manager 2009......... bit of a mission. Anyway I put myself in as a fantastic youth product, 16 years old with 25 goals in 14 appearances for italy u21's :)
