Got pretty much the best coaches out there..minus boas from inter. The training i am using is Tugs...works pretty good i think. Is there anything better?
Worldclass coaches and Tugs... You're set, hambon.

Are better scouts worth the money?
Search in the staff for 18 in Judging Ability, and 18 in Judging Potential.

i dont find him that good either, really inconsistent and only turns up against the smaller teams. Try for Marquinhos from palmeires or however you spell that club if you havent already, he's absolutely amazing! and can play in any attacking position

Well that's just plain stupid. Fucking Ashley Young's got better attributes than arguably world's best winger. Fucking Sports Interactive, idiots.

At least they fixed Del Piero after the second or third patch. Because before that he was good at best, nothing extraordinary.

Santon is better than him lol

your better off going for david silva if your gonna roll out the big bucks...
The problem isn't finding someone better than him, that can be done with simple filtering of players, it's the HUGE oversight by the game developers who are simply put, idiots. This kind of thing ruins the game copletely for me, because it was meant to be a REALISTIC take on football. And when I see one of worlds best players is inferior to an Ashley Young, it makes me sick to my stomach.

I've been playing this game for a decade and always they were horribly biased towards English players. Idiots.

Well it's a dribble compilation, not passing. ;) He was a ball hog lot of the time, but that's what made him who he was, kinda like C.Ronaldo or Ibrahimovic. He didn't lack the end product, be it a goal or an assist at the last moment, and that's what matters.

Yeah i sympathize with english being overrated in previous versions, but its seems to be getting better with time.

Now the problem is not only english players who are overrated, for me the main problem is their inconsistency in player stats. Ribery is the perfect example of this, some other are silva, o mota from valencia, they are the best players statswise. And there are a lot of those examples.

I remember some right back in ukranian league, brazilian I think he was, he was just out of this world, and there is no way developers could have missed these things, they are plain obvious. I mean, one of top players looks like shit, and mediocre ones are world class.

But all in all, its a good game, and no other manager sim comes near it.

As for Robert, I dont think it would be passible for ronaldo to do such things, I dont think he has the strength to hold the tackles thrown at him like that :D Damn, im just shocked I havent seem/knew him before... the way he dribbled past a guy in the last minutes of the clip, just blew my mind.:juventus:

I know what you mean, LOTS of players are overrated, not just the English, that is true.

As for the inconsistency despite the attributes, that depends a lot on your tactics and instructions. For example Silva needs a free-role, creative freedom, etc., Trez needs full attacking mentality, little creativity, etc. Combine that with their position on the pitch, the formation, the squad instructions, etc. and it's just way too much things to think of. Which is another reason why I've grown to dislike the game, it became too complicated, now you need to think of way too many things which becomes frustrating. I remember the good old days when Team instructions had 5 options. Those were the good old days. :D

Besides all that, the game is buggy as hell, so that can cause a number of things.

Yeah, football was different back then, lot rougher. It's a great clip with lots of cool moves. It's hilarious how defenders keep falling on the ground while he's doing simple roll-overs. BTW, I'm gonna pretend you didn't just say you didn't knew him before. :D

Will never make the same mistake again :D

By the way, what about bugs are you talking about? I havent noticed a lot of them, im playing 9.3. They have fixed a lot since it came out, remember where world class players would run out of bounds with the ball, that was annoying :(

Ok, Im off to training, gonna work on my team work and techique a bit :snoop:

    :rofl2: :rofl2: :rofl2:

I feel for you man, Ashley young is stupidly overrated on that game, as is theo walcott who turns into the perfect winger.

some players are given a way too high rating by the game developers and others are given really low. Like Cristiano Ronaldo, as much as he is a prick is the best player in the world, or at least when the game came out he was, but his stats aren't really that special. High ratings are given out way too easily, if someone is not outstanding at something i dont think they should get above a 15.

But just to add the cherry to the top of the ridiculousness cake I'm going to show you a screenshot from my game Vlatko, now let me warn you, you may smash your screen in disgust but bear in mind I am Bayern manager 4 years into the game.....

Apparently Molinaro is a better crosser of the ball than Ribery and Ronaldo.... :wallbang::eek: :rofl2: :wth: :confused2 :yuck: :yuck: :yuck:

Just a peak at Ribery's stats, again made me sick to my stomach. Moli is a beast. I never noticed Ronaldo's stats are like that...Passing, Creativity and Crossing all 13? Gimme a break... The developers make a lot of these mistakes and sometimes I can understand it but when we're talking about world's best players, these mistakes can not happen.

Ronaldo's stats are horribly low and they do it to all the best players, seeminly they dont want to make them too good but its just stupidity to give players like that less than 15 in aspects of the game that they are immense at, I'd like to Sports interactive to name me 20 players in the world that are better crossers than ribery but there are thousands on this game - madness.

You just cannot forgive a game creator who thinks molinaro's a better crosser than ribery and ronaldo. Anyone that has taken time to watch molinaro would know he's not even a better crosser than Ranieri. We should put them in this forum and get them to argue that Molinaro crosses the ball better than these players, they'd get eaten alive, his crossing attribute should be 2

Apparently Gaetan Thomas Guzman is a better corner taker, crosser, passer and free-kick taker than Franck Ribery. They're on par in dribbling though.

indeed that is what bothers me in this game, some players who are world class in real life are just average over here (Ribery, Diego, Silva...)
or is it more realistic then we think?
    is it a bad omen?
