Should Beppe Marotta be sacked? (3 Viewers)

Should Marotta be sacked?

  • Yes - his signings are an embarrassment to the club

  • No - he just got us to the Scudetto and we should see where that takes us

  • WTF - When did we suddenly inherit aching ladyparts like interisti?

Being a (hopefully) intelligent and reasonable person, tell me what is more likely: that you are right and every one else is wrong, or the other way around?
Well, history has already proved me right vs the public opinion on far too many occassions, so that wont be the first time.
I ve heard the same BS during the Secco age, the same mindless defending, based on wishful thinking.
I remained adamant and a few years later the Agnelli officially confirmed every point of my criticism was true.
Even Marotta himself admitted that he made mistakes and this task was proved too much of a burden for him.
So again, lets just wait and see who was right and who was wrong...
I have my opinion for sound reasons, based on the individual performance of the specific men, i do not make generalizations and not getting carried lke the rest of the sheep... (and the majority of modern Greeks for the same reason)
I'm sorry but how is performance is irrelivant to transfer director? Seco with thiagos, knezeviches, mottas and all the rest... would we be winning like we are now with that bunch, plus imagine what would secco would have done more.
Someitmes you just talk such bull$#@! it's not even funny enymore.
Because the transfer director is responsible for the quality of the player he sign and his form, before the acquisition.
He has no say to the team's management, simple as that...
Why do you think that Inter did a better deal for Palacio than we did for Isla? They got a 30 year old SS who's never gonna be preferred to Cassano and Milito. We got a 24 year old RWB who, EVEN if he's just a depth player as you think, was one of the very best in the world in his position. On top of it, Isla was their first choice to replace Maicon and we "stole" him from them by offering more money. Isla is too superior to the others you mentioned (none of them really made his team better, btw) so I won't compare him to these "top purchases".

Marotta can be criticized for only one thing this summer: failure to get a top striker. The failure wasn't influenced by the lack of money or the fact that he splashed a fortune on squad players. The bare confirmation from Fiorentina and Jovetic that we made a big bid which Viola decided to reject, proves that we did have money, but we failed to get a top striker.
It was not irrelevant that the majority of the players i mentioned where forwards, i mostly wanted to point out the the striker market was not as close or as expensive as the Marotta apologists present it, just defend him and his mistakes.
And we shall see if the need for a striker is more important than the need of the players Marotta has favored instead...

This is not just a matter of quality, could find better examples for that, this is a matter of priorities and Marotta has been failing with great consistency on that, his best acquisitions are opportunity targets and not our priorities.
This is a clear sign of incompetence imo and thats why i keep pointing it out...
...

Stopped there...found it contradictory.
It is not, as long as we have men able to overcome this handicap, when we didnt, we ranked 7th... simple as that.
But i believe that we must not rest, despte the fact that momentarily we can overcome those handicaps, we should seek ways to improve our selves and reach the maximum of our potential, the better way to achieve that, is by eradicating our weakest points.

It is a dsgrace that our fans do not apreciate Conte's work and praise the ones who sets handicaps on
his path. Even our opponents saw that and focused their attack on Conte...

I can't believe people want this club to be Inter and go through administration like toilet paper, even in times of success.

Don't give him the pleasure. Just ignore his posts. It's working great for me.
