That notion that Americans don't criticize their own country is just rubbish. If you decide to come to the States, venture into to the local barbershop, sporting good store, grocery store, gas station, etc. You'll hear complaining. What Americans don't enjoy is listening people from other countries who have never visited trying to tell us things we already know. And on top of that you go about telling us how much better you're country is than ours and then you get surprised when we get offended?
