it's not shocking at all, many of us would pass a dead person in the street without flinching
Would you?I certainly wouldn't,no matter where.

there are bums on the streets everywhere that just sit there or lay there motionless. i personally would not go and check if they are still breathing.

plus its never been worth it to be a good samaritan in modern times. thats how most law suits are filed.

but in the case of the hospital workers, they definitely should have done their jobs and helped the woman

hehe i was about to say that
Well,if someone is laying on the streets I would think twice before I check him/her,but if someone is laying literally next to me in a freakin hospital,no matter if as a employee or patient,I would certainly do something.

A bum laying motionless on some street is completely irrelevant. This woman was in a hospital ffs. The only people at hospitals other than staff are people seeking medical aid.

It's also irrelevant that it happened in the United States. This is unacceptable no matter where it happens.

Oh no, I'd say the American health care system is one of the very best in the world. It sure makes me sad to live in a country where health care is socialised. It really blows that I don't have to pay anything whatsoever for essential medical care.

Whether or not you like it America is probably the most fucked up country in the world. So don't you act as if I'm a fool when I just say it like that. And especially when it comes to medical care you should just shut up. This is nothing personal, I quite like you, but seriously, America's got far more problems than Belgium.

i never compared america with any other nation. i just stated that these kinds of unfortunate incidents do occur all over the world. i never touted the american health care system either.

i'm not gonna get into america being this or that or the most fucked up country on the planet. but i do know that we have our fair share of flaws and problems jsut like other 1st world industrialized countries with stable infrastructures do.
