    Medical Bulletin: 8th January

Early this afternoon, Giorgio Chiellini and Jean Alain Boumsong underwent nuclear magnetic resonance scans (NMR) for the muscular problems sustained during the Trofeo Berlusconi. The scans, carried out at Turin’s CTO hospital by Dr Carlo Faletti, revealed a 1st – 2nd degree strain of the left thigh for Chiellini. It will be 6 weeks before he resumes physical activity. Boumsong sustained a 1st degree strain to the lateral gemellus muscle of the left leg. The prognosis is around 3/4 weeks.

After a check-up this afternoon at the Juventus Center, Raffaele Palladino will begin a phase of rehabilitation lasting a few days for the after-effects of the sprain he suffered on Saturday. It is hoped he will return in time for Saturday’s trip to Mantova or next Tuesday’s home game against Cesena.

It’s good news for Giannichedda and Camoranesi, who should be able to resume training with the rest of the squad this week.

Marco Marchionni will intensify his training sessions this week and should join up with the rest of the group as early as the beginning of next week.

Emanuele Belardi, who underwent surgery on the meniscus in his left knee on the 20th December, will begin running work and preparatory exercises this week with a view to resuming work on the training round next week.

Nicola Legrottaglie continues with his rehabilitation and has already entered the first phases of physical preparation. He is expected to resume activity with the squad at the beginning of February.

Igor Tudor is expected to return to Italy on Sunday after a period of rehabilitation for the injury to his right ankle, operated on last August. His fitness will be assessed on Monday when he resumes physical activity.

Btw, this is indeed a tricky match for you guys. Your players must be in a damp mood after losing your biggest match of the season (trofeo Berlusconi)
.....and finding a marriage partner is a tricky match for an interesti! But then, as I said in another thread, NO respectable girl wants anything to do with an interesti: - they would put them in their place! Like this: -

(Sorry for being off topic Jacques!)

BTW how long is Boum's contract with us?

My formation for the Montova match:

    ...................................1-Buffon...................................

    ..27-Zebina.....2-Birindelli.....4-Kovac ......14-Balza..

    .........................6-Zanetti........19-Paro........................

    ........16-Camoranesi..............................20-Palladino.....

    .....................17-Trezeguet......10-Del Piero...................

Camo should play just a lil deeper position (like Pirlo). We should be fine.

    Forza Juve !!!

Damn, you're right. In that case, one of Biri/Zebina should start as CB, I say. Those bloody injuries :disagree:

PS There's a bright side too tho: Boumsong is out :weee: :D

Even though all of you hate Boumsong, we will miss him and Chiellini, Tudor is unreliable, Legro too, so that leaves us with Birindelli and Kovač... :frown:

well he used to play it for lazio from time to time, surely he's better at it than a regular fullback, birindelli/zebina. he can't be worse.

TBH I don´t see this game as crucial.

It will not show the real situation of Juve, cause winter pause has just ended and Juve is devastated with injuries.

What´s important is to win 2 home games in a row against Bari and Cesena...
