We played some good football at times and we could clearly see improvement from the last game. Our defense is not very good atm, but hopefully they will gel and perform on a higher level once they get to know eachother better. We created enough chances to put this game beyond doubt but it turned out to be quite the thriller at the end. With very bad luck it could have finished 2-2 but it would've been too harsh and undeserved if it did. An important first 3 points for us and may the winning streak continue against Crotone on Tuesday!

Forza Juve per sempre...

Congrats guys...

I am happy that David scored.. He needed it so much. Alex FK was magic. I bet if we asked him to throw it with his hands he won't be as accurate..
Camo looked motivated which is good.

Our deffense was terrible.. Needs alot of work..

-13 and counting :)

well first of all Watching Juve at last just brought some joy to me:D.And here is my take on the game.

its good to have our first 3 points but i still think the team needs a lot of work. Not only the defense. If Vicenza had a bit more quality they could've equalised and could even cause more problems.

We didnt hold possesion well in the midfield and lost a lot of possesion due bad decisions and unnecessary delay of play upfront.

the backline is not organised and DD should have a deep look at the personnel that r playing and see where is the problem.I think we have or had in this game two problems
1-the disorganisation of the backline.
2-they dont have much cover from the wingers,DMs.And the quick loss of possesion

I dont know how were playing...neddy was always in the middle and i had no problems with that but our left flank was non exsistent. Neddy's role in the middle restricted paro's role imo.

To the players

Gigi-Saved our asses again, made some important saves.

kovac-was solid of most of the game with the "usual" lapses of concentration. But did his job well and had some excellent tackles

boumsong-Well the guy needs to lift his game. And if this is the best he can do then we did a big mistakes.I will give him the benefit of the doubt, and still give him a chance.

chiellini- he had a good game, especially going forward. He was solid at the back as well.Set up Trezi's goal, so thats an assist for him.So good game:tup:.Dont understand why he was subbed

biri-had just a horrible game imo.DD should start thinking of putting balza there. He was caught out of position many many times, didnt contribute anything going forward.Kovac had to cover on him all day.

Zanetti-Had a great game imo.worked had all day, and most of his passes were accurate.Keep up the good work cristiano

paro-He had an average game.Would've wanted him to push forward more and open up the defence with his through passes, vision and shooting. But he was restricted to the short passes most of the time. But he did ok.And he will improve day by day.

marchionni-very positive game, was kind of quite in the first half but in the 2nd contributed well with his pace and crosses.Needs to help the defense more but overall he did well.

neddy-typical neddy ran hard, gave his all and got a yellow card that was completely unneccesary.Thought he was should've been subbed as he looked very tired towards the end.But he had a good game.

Trezi-Looked tired towards the end.But nice game considering that as well.Looked tired in the 2nd half. But typical game for him, sometimes hes invisible but he just comes out in the right time. That celebration shows wat this club means to him, and i think he will make sure we r back in serie A then he will leave.

Alex-great free kick, great touches and worked hard. But i think he could've done better especially with neddy and trezi with him.I thought he kept the ball with him alot when he could've just went for a pass. But i think it was a good day for the captain, saved us again.

DD-needs a lot of work especially to organise the team.We have to learn to hold and make positive use of the possesion we get.And we look exposed in the back.A team like vicenza should'nt get all those easy chances to score.
He trusts Boumsong, so i will give him the benefit of the doubt.
But i dont know why hes sticking with biri....He didnt even give balza a go in RB.

subs.

balza- very positive going forward and defending. He uses his skills very and well and links up well with the midfielders.

camo-if that guy wants to play he can do watever he wants with any defense.Such a fucking moody player. He could help the team a lot if he wants to.Showed great positivity going forward especially with his dribbling.Would want him to stay but i think hes leaving by january

Palladino-i dont think he even touched the ball, although hes was there for a fair bit.But i wont comment on him since i didnt see much of him in the game.

Anyway good to see a win on the board although it wasnt pretty.

Trezeguet: “Trust in me”

Having received the award for top foreign goal scorer, David Trezeguet then set about breaking his own personal record of 125 goals, netting another in the victory over Vicenza. “I’m very happy to have scored the opener in a difficult match against quality opposition. I’m honoured to have reached this personal mile stone and to have been presented the award by the club here at the Olimpico, in front of a fantastic public. They supported us throughout the game and showed us their great affection”. Then came the promise. “Trust in me, I will fight along side my team mates to take Juventus back to Serie A without delay”.

Boumsong: “No time to lose”

“I have to get used to things quickly as there’s no time to lose. We have to win all our games. It won’t be easy as the teams we play will show a lot of grit and determination. That was the case with Vicenza today. They showed a lot of fight to drag themselves back into the match from two goals down. We have to show the same grit as our opponents if we’re going to win all our games, our technical superiority will do the rest”.

-------------------------------------------------

I just hope he does not mean his own technical skills:D

At least he knows that there is not time to lose..

Del Piero: “Giant steps forward”

“We can take many positives from the game, it was a good match, and intense from a competitive point of view. For two thirds of it we played really well. When Vicenza got themselves back in the game we had a few problems but we took some giant steps forward today”.
Del Piero spoke about his pairing with Trezeguet in attack. “It went well but there are many hard games ahead of us. As with everyone in this squad, it’s great to have him on board. Me? I’m very happy with my choice to stay”.
And finally, a word on the splendid turn out at the Olimpico this afternoon. “The fans? They showed the same warmth and enthusiasm as always”.
