well in my eyes he is an out and out striker, he does not have the attributes to be anything else.

i dont know how it changed it to a 442 when hes a defender and he was brought on for a midfielder, it just seems tht there were a lot of ppl out of position

why would he be given credit for starting chiellini on the left? now we have 2 centrebacks thats where he plays, i dont think there was really any other option, he would never leave chiellini out of the squad.

so with a more solid midfield we would have put more pressure on the defence? i really dont get that reasoning at all, a 4-3-3 is more vulenerable to counters than a 4-4-2

Balzaretti was played countless times in the midfield and thats where he was placed and zalayeta was on the right, thats a straight 442. So i dont think it was playing him out of position as he accustomed to that role and i thought he did well.


abt chiellini, he was on the bench in the last game for Balzaretti.Balzaretti played better this season on that left flank, and DD made a decision to field Chiellini there to cover Papa Waigo and it was spot on.

Abt the formation....With that formation you put out , you call that a more solid midfield? It has no holding players and actually that was the formation DD played with but with marchionni and neddy in the middle(where they should be considering it is 433)

I said it before, my only problem with DD is not starting Bianco or Venitucci with would've given us a more stable midfield as they are less attack minded players that Marchisio.And it would allow Marchisio to have a freer role

when will u understand that 4-4-2 wasnt an option last nite, we didnt have enough players that were fit enough or good enough to play a 4-4-2 last nite and even by your formation, nedved and marchio arnt players that provide cover for its defence, so didi took the risk of instead of palying an attacking player like nedved in the centre to give pointless cover for its defence by using an extra attacker for more goals, it was a risk well taken and almost worked, but unfortunatly the exposure on the counter was too much to handle, sumthing didi or juve cud do anything about

looooooooool ur so stupid, palladino is not even 100% so why play him from the start if he isnt gona finish with no replacement and besides that formation is a 8 man attack including balzaretti and chiellini, that formation is suicide, like i said marchisio is not one that sits in front of the defence and cleans up the mess like zanetti for example marchisio is one that likes to push forward alot and expose his position.

i cant comment on bianco or venitucci as i havent seen them play so no very little about the roles they occupy but i still feel the formation quoted by me and vinman would have been a lot better option

well then DD could have actually used a thing called a substitution to freshen things up, which is another thing hes incapable of doing, palla would have given us a bit extra pace which would have been very useful against as you said a fast paced team

however u look at it be it playing zala,palla,dp,boji on the wing, it wud still end up basically playing a 4-3-3 and wudnt of solved our exposure.

for the last time, zala,palla etc... arnt defensive strikers that play as wingers we had no defensive mifielders, to of no fault of didi's thats the end of it

marchisio is not a defensive mid, hes more of a creative one

i honestly dont see whats wrong with that, and how is juventus low if papa waigo scores??? he is a very fast player and there is nothing wrong with that. how does villareal beat barca isnt that a low for yr beloved barca??

even with big signings , if you have a bad coach you will not make it , we could not beat teams like albinolefe and rimini in turin or away ???? how will we beat inter or milan ???

I actually believe we can do well in Serie A. What is happening in B is a bit complicated and diff. Teams, players, coaches giving more than their 100% against us....what I saw yesterday proves my point, Neddy and Dp being fouled each 5min. It's like their first and last game against world class players...

I think in Serie A we will have more space, more winning mentality than in Serie B.

i would also like to add to this rab, that this is the reason why players like trez find it hard to score, there is no space and all the teams we face give 110% against us.

great post by Mike Da Don , unfortunitly guys who say the DD is great dont see the big picture , they are happy that we are leading serie B but we are thinking ahead of them , is this enough to lead or at least to let juve in the top 4 , i dont think so

r we in seria A yet??? did dd get new signings?? nooooo so why dont u shup up and stop moaning until this summer comes and then u can cry all u want. we honestly need to be patient and juventus cant win all the games guys lets be real. i think we can all judge dd when this summer ends thats when we will all know who r the signings coming to the team and then when the season starts we shall see how he takes us through it.

Didier is no worse than Rijkaard, they just have different resources. Lets see how great Rijkaard would have been motivating players who were world champions a month or so before that they have to play in Serie B with a 9 point penalty. we might have a superior team but our players needed a lot of motivation to play well and to show their skills. Also we had many injuries this year in defence and in midfield which are the most important positions in a physical league like Serie B

all of u guys are attacking him, why were u attacking him when he beat inter with our curent squad at the begining of the season??? or when he played an amazing game againt milan in the berlessscoini trophy??

i know some of his substitions have tonnes of question marks but we should wait and see whats next for us. and we all know the most important thing at the moment is wining not playing entraining football or wining 10 -0 in all our games.

i bold the words, i do not accept that. with the truth to compare our squad to the others in B, we are actually like chelsea, do other teams have such quality players as we do?however, we do have, but dd does not have the ability to let them play in their full potential at least.
Be patient?we have been patient for 8 months so far, we thanked his loyalty to juve, but we should really consider his ability seriously. he was good once in monaco, but he lost his valubale quality already.
DD is not good enough now to manage juve, maybe later. but the point is that should we sacrifice the perfomances in next fews years so that let dd becoms mature? i will deny that because it's more important for juve get back to the toplist as soon as possible, i can see lippi to be the greatest ever to lead us back to the top more possibly rather than dd in next coming years

i also want to mention something that dd manages team well in cup matches in monaco like the ec in 04, and he did well in french cup things like that, but his performance in league is not so good. although his team was in the top 3 in consecutive 3years in france, he lacks a bit of consistence, how ever we need more consitent performance since we are mostly playing in league matches.
maybe he should take charge of us 3 years ago since we have the goal of ec trophy, but now we should do well in Serie A
