wow DP and Trezeguat both injured. who would have thought of that at the start of the season.
Don, I started that thread a month ago, fearing it would happen.

We had an average game, nothing spectacular.

Zlatan proved what a punk he is with that little head-butting incident, not to mention that he doesnt know what a pass is.....

Olivera has no control of where he shoots the ball, it was all over the place

The defense wasnt tested too often, which I guess is a good thing

WE HAVE A SHITTY OFFENSE !!!! With Trez and DP both out, I have ZERO confidence in Zala and Zlatan. These 2 guys will NOT win us any CL games, nor any games against our biggest rivals

Defense will win you games, but not if you cant put the freakin ball into the net !!!

I am not satisfied with our performance today, and I hope DP will be ready for Messina.

The commentator compared Zlatan to a "much taller version of Del Piero"

BULLSHIT !!! Not even close !!!!!!!!

Zlatan cannot pass, tries to beat 2 and 3 defenders at once, and makes stupid mistakes. We cannot wait a year for this chump, the time is NOW !!!!!

Well look at the bright side, since Zlatan is already in Juve, he needs time to adapt himself to Italian football. So give him some time.

As soon as he is used to Italian football, he will be capable of scoring.

And so the curse begins. After Juventus dumps Miccoli to Fiorentina, they're haunted with attacking problems. So predictable, yet so surprising.

It's a rude awakening for everyone at Juventus. I am so incredibly pissed off at myself because that day, I said "Miccoli? We'll eventually get him back. We got Ibrahimovic. What's the worst that could happen." Boom. Like a kick in the nads.

I am the only one thinking that apart from our defence being greatly improved, that overall, this team isn't much better than last seasons?

This game was interesting because it show off some of the virtues and sins that the team have right now.

First, the confirmation of the PARMA TRIO as our best choice in the back. After finishing Inter nightmare, Canna is showing good shape, and also thuram is performing at a very good level. But season is long and Montero, Tudor, Legro and Ferrara will become needed sooner or later.

In the midfield, the Appiah choice has proven to be a useful one, probably not as defensive as Blasi option, but giving the team more depth in the right side and moving the gravity center a bit to the left (check how Emerson, when Appiah is in the pitch, always take some steps back to his normal position) and giving Camo more chance to cut-in at 3/4 field.
Also Olivera is having and important role, for the versatility he has.A perfect weapon for the second 45 minutes, for the pace and "arrival" he has showed.
In the front, a big warning: It seems Zlatan still doesnt get he is playing in serie A. He needs to learn, and fast, to deliver the ball. Each time he gets the ball, he keeps it until half rival team arrives to disarm him. Capello have a lot of work to do with him...

All in all, there is still much to improve...but i like it the way Capello is conforming the team.....

In fact, I would say last year's team had more zip to it in attack. Our defence is immensely improved, but other than that........the team looks pretty dull.

Wel even if we had DP and Trez, I still think our defense is shity!
I also am not satisfied with how we played, we only look dangerous whenever Zambrotta and Nedved are on the left, Cant we think of somethin else?
As For Zlatan, I'm really disappointed with his attitude yesterday, I was the optimistic one who said Zlatan will be great. If only he just try to fit in with the team first, u know play straight simply football instead of trying to become the instant STAR! He's trying to do too much with each time he gets the ball!

Del Piero is out for only two weeks. he'll be back in the next game against Messina I suppose.
Zlatan is indeed a selfish bastard :D but he is capable of scoring!
