We will suffer like i predected , dp and trez easily get injured , know we dont have anyone except zlatan who till know is not effective at all and zalayeta whos goal will not be repeated in the coming 100 games:D

we needed another striker cause both dp and trez cannot be relied upon , i dont know what capello will do know in the cl and serie A:(

Wel even if we had DP and Trez, I still think our defense is shity!
I also am not satisfied with how we played, we only look dangerous whenever Zambrotta and Nedved are on the left, Cant we think of somethin else?
As For Zlatan, I'm really disappointed with his attitude yesterday, I was the optimistic one who said Zlatan will be great. If only he just try to fit in with the team first, u know play straight simply football instead of trying to become the instant STAR! He's trying to do too much with each time he gets the ball!
as long as we get the results we want, nothing's shitty!!!:D

Let's see.

3 goals in 5 matches, despite not being a first team regular, and this being his first foray into a major football league (no offense to the Eredivisie).

That's a 60% success rate, which, if carried out trough the remaining 33 matches, would net him approximately 23 goals this season.

This, for a player who is still quite young, and has admittedly not played well at all.

My, My, My we are certainly a fickle bunch, now aren't we??

Or would most of you rather have Miccoli's 1 goal scored so far for Fiorentina??

That's not really a comparison to make. As you should compare how Miccoli would've done this season with Juve compared to Zlatan (or how Zlatan would do at fiorentina).

As Miccoli isn't playing for us though this season, they're not to be compared.

Miccoli would still be on the bench at Juve, just like he was last year.

And openly complaining about it as well.

now, he gets ninety minutes a match wiht Fiorentia, he is one of the focal points for that team, and he has gotten

1 goal.

But hey, he's on pace for what he usually does anyway, which is score about 8-9 goals a season.

I wonder about that. Seeing as DP is injured, Trez injured. I think he might've already had his fair share of chances already.

Like I wrote in my previous post, you can't say if that's the way he would've performed for us.

Dominic, let me preface this by saying that I do not like Miccoli at all. I find him to be vastly overrated, and nothing short of a Maradona in '86-like performance in Germany 2006 will change my mind. I think a major reason for my disdain of him is how he has been hyped up as Italy's version of Romario by the Italian press, which is preposterous considering the most amount of goals he has scored in a season in Serie A is 9.

Romario, in his prime used to score nine goals in a month.

After seen the game here are some tougths:

I really liked the Emerson - Appiah center field combination, like someone said is notr as defensive as a Blasi - Emerson, but gives the team a hole new dimention...

The hole defence was amazing, and I must apologise to Zebina for all the bad things I said when we got him, he has make me eat my words :D

Zlatan, someone here said that if the moves he made would work would have been classic... agree there, and after you see the moves in slow motion you see that he was one move way to drible 3 players... now, I really think Capello needs to teach him to pass the ball coz somethimes he can be veeeeeerrrry selfih... but I like the kid, he wanted to score soooo badly.... he will be a great player...

Ibrahimovic will hardly be suspended. The referee saw the headbutt and he didn't give Zlatan yellow or red card, so nothing could be done against him.

He hit a guy in the butt with his head ;)

No, j/k, a headbutt is when you hit someone with your forehead, best results are achieved if you hit him directly in the nose. Like what Zidane did against Hamburg.
