the only thing I hop Ranieri takes out of this match is that when we play against 4-3-3 our 4-4-2 sucks it happened tonight and on saturday night.
But looking at Udinese's line-up, they didn't play 4-3-3 tonight, they played 4-4-2. And they even announced that they will switch to 4-4-2 because the 4-3-3 didn't work anymore.

well they always had 3 of their center midfielders against our 2 so what ever formation they had they out numbed us and it has now happened in 2 straight games

They had a midfield of

Asamoah---Inler------D'Agostino-----Isla

Overall we played a horrible match, and while Gigi could do nothing on the goals, he made a few mistakes here and there, like the header from a corner which he totally misjudged, and almost gave straight to zapata.

Giovinco's best play in the whole match was when he got the ball on the left wing, went past Zapata, but then was fouled, apart from that he did nothing.

Like someone said before Sissoko suffered today cause the midfielders of Udinese where playing long through balls, while he is better against the dribbling kind of midfielder.

Amauri was quiet, but that was due to the lack of service.

Nedved and Marchionni were quite horrible to watch, Ranieri made the right choice putting in Iaquinta for MM.

Grygera was absolutely horrible, i don't think i've ever seen a fullback play worse for us in all the time i've been watching Juve, i.e. since 95, absolutely terrible.

Molinaro and Mellberg were our most solid defenders and as far as i recall did their jobs without too many mistakes.

Legro, he got totally owned, ala Criscito vs Roma, by Quag, the ball was his to clear, and instead of running in the direction of the ball to clear it, he moved backwards and let Quag move in for it.

We really have to improve our overall game, cause this is our 'crises' period, yes we've won 2 out of the last 4, but we didn't deserve to, we need to start playing better and go on a winning streak, as we have to face Roma soon, and they are in a good patch of form

The difference between a 1st place team and a "top 3" team is that a 1st place team can manage a win with 10 men and still score. Today Juve really did not come to play. 3 games now where we really struggled to win anything on the pitch, create, capitalize, etc. October was hell and now we are slipping back into that mentality. Inter lost to Atalanta and that was their only major setback this season. Now, after doing so well to catch up to them we are back in the hole we had to spend most of the current season crawling out of. I am not the one to bash CR but this is 3 games where we had a team "half-ass" a performance. I know some players played well last weekend against the Viola but as a whole our team play has not been much to watch. I would like to know how CR is getting the team mentally ready before matches, I don't understand why we can't keep any consistency. We had a 7 win streak, now 3 matches have gone by without that same flair, yet fu*cking inter go down and man and still dominate.

We are slowly getting our players back, starting with Buffon, IQ, and now Trez but until we get things flowing again as a team we are going to continue to struggle. It is frustrating watching matches where we are all praying for one of our stars to pull a rabbit out of a hat and woo the audience. I was glad to rest DP but I think it was a bad game to do it. Yes he draws fouls and has been on fire with FKs but we can not claim that's what we need him for, or a reason why he should have played. We can't win titles by depending on our captains FKs. Inter do well because they have quality in pretty much every area of their starting 11...suspensions, injuries, headcases, it doesn't matter because Mourinho has plenty to choose from. Its upsetting that the board hasn't chosen to pick up any players this winter window considering our "weak" points are so freaking clear that anyone can see them. Now we have 2 days left I think to get someone, and the time it takes for this board to finalize a deal there is no way.

Today sucked

actually it all depends on Ranieri...will he even dare to try the 4-3-3 instead of the defensive 4-4-2?
changing from a formation that worked pretty often (4-4-2) to a formation we do not have the players for and that did most of the time fail (4-3-3) ?

that is not what i would call logic

    Oh, it matters what.
There is always a reason why i defend or attack someone. Just that you're fully concentrated on attacking the old guy so you can't accept different opinion.
Like i told you, you're Cronios, Ranieri is Molinaro. You're Rebel, Ranieri is a zionist. Complete bias. Even if You're right in 90% of the cases for attacking Ranieri/Molinaro/Israel, You'll attack them even in those 10% where you're clearly wrong, and you'll start an argument with all those who think otherwise.

Change your mind as the facts change snoop. Don't do as you once said you do (" I don't change my mind"). It's really nothing bad if you admit being wrong from time to time. You look even more silly by trying to stick to the opinion that was proven to be wrong.
You are talking non-sense Alen. These should be said to you, I am not the one who jump off and mock to everyone who was wrong, when we win or lose, you do that all the time. You do that just like you did it in this thread, before anyone starting to do anything..

You are the one called me silly for "attacking" (actually I was criticizing) Ranieri few days back, for playing Nedved 90 minutes, and his coward and meaningless subs. Now we saw what happened tonight ,while you said previously everything is going perfect, you showed us statistics and points. We lost and you are telling me that I should admit I was wrong? ffs you serious? Yeah we are winning lately, you forgot how we played the last 3 matches? Lazio, Fiorentina and now Udinese? I am not doing this to win arguments, that's what you are doing, with bringing stats and all, and trying every other way just to prove you are right!! You are the one telling us to read Sissoko's thread's first pages, Amauri's, just to show some member THEY WERE WRONG.

I am fucking giving my opinions without attacking persons, I never said "I WAS RIGHT YOU IDIOTS!! " I never started this calling names "silly" and all, just writing my opinions, you want me to stop that? and tell you you are right Alen, you are 100% right?

how many more games nedved, how many more

Asamoah beat juventus, isla looked like zico playing on molinaro's side, Grygera needs chiellini to slap his ass back into form. If anyone had any idea what Gio's tactical position was please let me know.

    Who wanted some quotes?

    Ranieri: "We missed DP's presence".
For me, it's still not clear whether Del Piero is injured and couldn't play this match/couldn't take a risk, or if he was rested.

As I've said for a while now, Ranieri is just trying to emulate Capello. But who can blame him though? :pumpkin:
TBH Andy, this Ranieri is doing better than the Capello we had. If we want to compare our current situation to the situation we were in before Calciopoli, then Ranieri gets my vote.

I know for a fact, Capello wouldn't have the balls to coach this squad.

well theres an exception to every rule, Del Piero is that exception here.
    He's an exception everywhere, Habibe;).

    I think Alex was rested.

Sad thing is that this team has so much potential (surprisingly), Ranieri has his faults but when he gets it right Juve is beautiful to watch, unfortunately it's either him or the clinic or the players themselves that fail to do that week in week out . They have to get back to this fast

The players are to be blamed way more than Ranieri. We were not even trying to push. No creativity nothing.

Btw, this is why It's risky playing without Alex

Giovinco alone = Not much creativity.

Alex +Giovinco = Lot of creativity

Alex alone= Creativity, experience helps anyway.

Alex + Mauro + Giovinco = I'm not even commenting on this one.

Last nite was indeed frustrating, not only the match is lost but the failure to get a working stream is driving mad ...

D'Agostino might be reading Juventuz.com I think, it was him who provide a sublime pass to De NUT-ale which scored the 2nd Udinese goal ... damm
