Camoranesi: "Winning attitude"
Dear supporters,
while I’m writing to you, I have mixed feelings: on the one hand, I must admit I regret the defeat against Inter, on the other hand I believe that we’ll do well, very well, in the final rush. What happened Wednesday night is under everybody’s eyes: the Nerazzurri kicked one shot on goal, compared to our 8, but unfortunately their only attempt was the winning one.
Such is football: when the ball just does not want to get in, there’s no way you can make it. We tried really hard but we found an extraordinary Toldo in every occasion. We’re undoubtedly disappointed for losing the match as well as the advantage over Milan but these are the very starting points for me to look at the remaining six matches with great confidence.
In these cases, it is usual to think about one match at a time..it is true but partly. We must also have the ultimate target, the Scudetto, clear in our minds and play every single shot as it was the decisive one to win the title.
We’ll be in Rome next Sunday to play a decisive match against Lazio and it will be the same the following Sunday against Bologna and so forth. This must be our attitude: there won’t be only one direct face-to-face match, there will be six and we must and want to win them all.
Yours affectionately,
Mauro Camoranesi
