All this praising about Iaquinta, I have a feeling he will be a big disappointment this game.
yeah i fear that as well.He won't a fifth of the spaces he got against roma, so i don't think it will be as easy as the roma game for him as the skills will need to come into use and his are limited imo.

anyway i hope his confidence will overcome it and he does well.

Ficcadenti ready to test Juve

Reggina boss Massimo Ficcadenti is looking to exploit Juventus’ defensive woes to take an unlikely point in tonight’s Turin clash.

The Calabrian minnows travel north yet to win this season after two draws and two defeats and are expecting a bitter relegation struggle this term.

However, inexperienced Coach Ficcadenti is still optimistic at the Amaranto’s chances and welcomes the challenge of facing an unbeaten Juventus oozing confidence.

“Juventus are very tough opponents and they are on form, but we will play our game as always,” the ex-Verona man insisted.

“We need to try and take advantage of their recent problems in midfield and their depleted defence, even if the replacements are good players.”

Reggina were comfortably beaten by Udinese last weekend, but can take haert from their gutsy performance against Roma in Week 3.

“We didn’t play as well in Udine as we had for the previous three games, but we can put that right straight away here,” Ficcadenti coninued. “All the players are fit and the squad is developing well.”

The minnows’ tactician must choose between Brazilian hitman Joelson or Fabio Ceravolo to play alongside the trusty Nicola Amoruso, who plays against his former employers.

“I’ll decide the formation at the last minute, but whatever side I put out there it will be a more determined Reggina with character,” he concluded.

If criscito is going to start I'd play this:

-----------------buffon--------------------

--sali----grygera----criscito--chiellni----

-------nocerino--------zanetti------------
------------------tiago---------------------

--iaquinta---------trez-----palladino/DP--

I read that Tiago and Palladino are going to be in the starting line-up in this game .
I hope they do.

you are an id....uhm....whatever.

What do football skills have to do with scoring?!?!
Off the ball movement, positioning, shooting with both feet, prolific heading..those are not football skills? Than what is? Juggling the ball on your head like that Kerlon kid?

You may not appreciate that type of player personally but at his position he's one of world's best and that's a fact.

Football skills come out, when your whole team is stopped byyy....let's say Liverpool or Arsenal....and you have a skilled man that can make an advantage by himself. Iaquinta can....Treze can't.....THAT's A FACT THAT NO ONE CAN DENY!
