I watched the game with my liverpool supporting friend and he acknowledged Momo's drastic improvement especially his pass completion ratio. I do agree, Favalli was bamboozled by Momo down the right -through the legs and he jumped over. He's a DM but he powers foward well and skillfully I might add plus he has the energy to trail back

The crowd created one hell of a atmosphere. Cheering the team the whole 90 min and those Olee's when our players passed the ball between them just for the fun of it ... it gave me goosebumps.

Great atmosphere, great match , great result... thank you for unforgettable night.

This is just hilarious. What a bunch of retards thet are. They're all like 'I love the way we're playing, this is a great Milan, blablablaaa' but a few posts later, they're harassing all of their players. What great loyal supporters.

Dude that happens here all the time too sadly enough. It's hilarious their fans are claiming they played better and didn't deserve to lose. That is bullshit their were three players offside in their second goal! Despite Sali's shocking double he stilled played like crap the rest of the match.

I would hardly find amusement on the Milan forums. Afterall, throughout these forums all you hear about are posters who want to kill Molinaro, references to the coach as RUINieri, etc.

Congrats guys on a very important win this season..

Ok, i'll just get to my main point. If we want to compete next season in both CL or Serie A we need to buy 4 defenders THEN think about reinforcing other areas.
Few questions to Mr. Ranieri, Stendardo today played against Kaka, Seedorf, Pirlo and Pipo inzaghi and he did well. At least during the period he played we did not conceed any goals. So why? Why Mr. Ranieri is this player sitting on the bench and incompetant players like Molinaro are on the field every single match?
Why can't we player either
Grygera -- Legro -- Stendardo -- CHiellini
OR
Legro -- Stendardo -- Chiellini in a 3 men defence (3-4-3 or 3-5-2)
Why did we borrow him to simply warm the bench seat?

Tiago had an average match, in fact, Tiago's MAIN problem is positioning himself on the field (in addition to lack of strength). He simply enjoys watching other player play rather than openning up spaces for the likes of Alex and Maoro to help them by preparing himself to receive the ball. Sissoko is not supposed to be an offensive midfielder, but when a defensive midfielder does the offence part better than the so called central or offensive midfielder you know that the later is not performing well.

Unfortunately for us, and fortunately for Milan, that Trezeguet was not in the right mood for the game. He did not open up spaces for Alex and Camoranesi as he usually does. In many plays he ran with the team but without the aim of openning up space which led Alex/Maoro to hold the ball longer and possibly lose the ball.

Now back to our Top 4 of the day:
Maoro Camoranesi: He is by far our most creative midfield player this season. We really missed him during his injury time. Never the less, as soon as he returned back he was immediately effective. Playing his heart out every single game. Gave 3 assists in a single big game, a number the likes of Zidane might not have provided. For this simple fact I would give him MOM.

Mohammed Sissoko: He is consistant in every possible way. He is very concentrated on his game. And along side Zanetti he is by far our best central midfielder this season. His controbution to our midfield let the likes of Vieira and Emerson wrap around their legs in embaresment. This is a player who we should keep for a really long time. Worth every penny we paid for him.

Hasan Salehamdzic: One of his greatest games of the season. He ran alot. Tried hard be everywhere. Scored two goals.. Good game :)

Alessandro Del Piero: No words can decribe our gratitude towards this Legend. There is a good number of great players in the world, and there are many champions, though few legends, but there will always be ONE ALEX DEL PIERO. He is a player who has been here for 15 years now. 15 years full of success. 15 years of giving his all to this club and to the game of football. It is a disgrace to the whole football community and to the award itself that Del Piero has never been awarded the footballer of the year award. He is the only player I can think of who has played and won big for 15 years while posesing one of the greatest talents in the world. He is the only player I can think of who literally has carried a club to be consistantly one of the best clubs in the world and in many season he has done it single handedly. I am full of doubt that if Del Piero was not to join Juve in 1993 that Juventus would not have acheived 1/2 of the glory they have acheived with him. He is not to be compared with likes of Kaka, C. Ronaldo ..etc. he should be only compared with phenonena's like Maradona, Pele, Platini and Zidane. And to me, as an over all player he might be even better than them. He is a true leader, and might be last breath of decent football before it goes into being a huge commercial business.

Great post dude
Alex is simply the best

i felt very bad with the way that bastard called Pippo Inzaghi when he didn't show any respect to his ex team and went celebrating his goals like a fucken monkey
This is a map of Europe :

This is a map of Asia:

For some reason Kazakhstan is part of UEFA and teams from this country participate in CL and UEFA.
Now, all the pain you felt when watching Pippo celebrate will disappear when sometime in mid July, Pippo will be forced to play Intertoto matches with Milan, somewhere in Kazakhstan, near Chinesse-Mongolian border !
    I guarantee.

I don't fault him. Actually, if you read his pre-game comments, it sounded like he had conflicted feelings going into the match -- which is a rarity. That was probably the most respect I've read given to Juve from an ex-player in a long time.

But the guy is fighting for his club to stay alive for a CL spot. I cannot fault a guy for doing that. He's a monkey no matter what.

But I have to say, this match was probably the most character-defining match of our entire season. More even than the recent Inter match. We could have let this one fall through our fingers and hung up the towel down 2-1. But we kept in it and fought back -- thanks in no small part to Alessandro.

Some of the most entertaining, heart-attack football from Juve in a while over the past couple of weeks. I don't know if I can take this stuff...

Milan's backline today had an average age of about 46, so we should have been able to score. But damn that Pippo poacher. First Milan goal, Kaka does a number to get around Chiellini, and Pippo slinks by his marker in Molinaro with the guy barely noticing until the ball is in the net. :frown:

Second Milan goal was dubious. Sure, Kaka wasn't offside. But Pippo was throughout that entire exchange. So you can't even call passive offsides on that one. Still, the Juve backline looked inattentive and uncoordinated and ripe for disaster. Poor Gigi was left naked half the time.

But at the lowest point of the match, with Gigi parrying possible two-goal down scenarios, somehow the team found it to fight back. Some credit perhaps to Ranieri's correct decision of the formation change -- which did slow down Kaka. But more to the players who dug in deep and rescued this match.

We needed a break in the second half, though. And we almost got two: Bonera's Bonera-headed cleats-up tackle on Sissoko, and almost Momo's left ankle. Forza Momo for hanging in there and coming back on the pitch.

And yes, Brazzo was hardly a dynamic player today. Most of what he did was poach rather than create. But that's the way Pippo does it. A great three points, and how I love to see Milan go down in flames. The only thing sparing Ancelotti's hide is Silvio has enough to preoccupy him with the elections this weekend.

Buffon - 6.5 - I can't fault the guy for atrocious defending that left him so exposed. He did the best he could under the situation.

Grygera - 5.5 - Contrary to others, I thought he fared alright. Some good clearances. Some good work upfield. But some defensive errors too.

    Legrottaglie - 5 - Didn't contribute nearly enough.

Chiellini - 5 - More controversially, I have to question Chiellini's play of late. He is not covering his men well. He is not contributing much offensively. But the biggest issue is that he has been suspect in man-to-man situations lately. I hope it's just a flu or something, but Chiellini is having a bad streak of form lately.

Molinaro - 5 - Boneheaded marking of Inzaghi on their first goal. A good run to catch up and stop Kaka in the second half. And some other good forces to corners after having to run into the play. But that's part of the problem -- he shouldn't have to run from far out if he was marking and covering well. He was most certainly not.

Camoranesi - 7 - MOM. Dug in and produced a lot of activity from midfield -- more than the others, for sure. Could have done more on the wing, however. Odd to see him play better in the middle.

Sissoko - 6.5 - Not among his best games, but he was mostly solid. Particularly in fighting for the ball and winning challenges. He was relentless, and he kept motoring even after that horrific tackle by Bonera-head.

Tiago - 5.5 - He tried. That's not enough, though. Didn't contribute enough to the offense, but did OK in coverage at the back.

Salihamidzic - 6.5 - Definite Forrest Gump of the Match (FGM) -- a classic example. Poached a powerful Trez header that couldn't have been more squarely sent to Kalac's gut, but did break from his marker well for a clean, precise header as the gamewinner. Outstanding stuff there. But otherwise, I don't think he added much to the team.

Trezeguet 5.5 - A few touches as usual. Did well with them -- better than last week. But they were too on target, and allowed Kalac to make a meal out of some of it. I can't fault him completely for the header in Kalac' gut. He at least hit it hard enough that Kalac had no chance to hold on, allowing Brazzo to score.

Del Piero - 6 - A captain's effort of good ball movement, good fight, and keeping the club in the match. But he was also quite wasteful. An open shot right at Kalac' legs. Hogging the ball too long in a dangerous spot and allowing the Milan defense to round up their walkers on him. He was responsible for far too many turnovers to give him higher than a 6.

    Subs:

Stendardo - 6 - I give him a 6 because he was better than Legro and Milan didn't score on him.

Iaquinta - 6 - You got to love his ball pursuit.

Nocerino - 5 - I forgot who else wrote this, but he definitely could have cost us the match. The best thing he did today was waste time with the ball and pass it to someone with more talent, which was most of the pitch.

    Coach:

Ranieri - 6 - Shoddy in the first half, but the adjustments were pretty good. Could have cost us with Nocerino, however.

    Ref:

Rocchi - 6 - Some dubious offsides calls, but that wasn't his direct fault. In general, did the right thing in calling some cards, with a few that were a bit heavy-handed. But tossing Bonera was so right -- that boy should sit a couple games minimum. And sorry, Maldini: the free kick that ultimately got us the winner was not a fluke. You basically ran over Grygera while having no shot at the ball. Shoulder to shoulder almost presumes that Grygera would see it coming, and he clearly did not.

now this is why I love Greg...he saved me 30 minutes of typing

I agree with almost everything, but Molinaro's rating is a little too high for a talentless slug, and I dont think RUINeri made the right move in bringing off Trez

    LOL, they are so retarded.

PS: Did you guys notice that they have their own version of DEVIL(the dude who said that Diego had already signed for Juve), his name is BANI who everyone seems to hate. The only respectable fan in that forum is WILD who was being realistic the whole time and not being bias; regarding to the foul on Sissoko & Brazzo's first goal.
