I'm seriously pissed at Camoranesi. The guy always skips preseason FFS.
 Yeah, I noticed that too.

Anyway, M Cuti, it's way too early for those gazzetta probable line-ups. Let's wait and see after today's juve friendly and all the international friendlies to see who's ready to play and who isn't.

i know it was early, but still they are probably quite accurate, maybe Tiago will be in.

Any match thread will be for pre-match and post-match only.

To potty-train the lot here, I will close this thread and open the other during games.

I don't think Tiago's ready. I was hoping for him to be two weeks ago, but the way it looks now.. and who would have to go out? Almiron? Nocerino? They have both been better the past few weeks.

Dumb post, my man. You know you're a friend of mine, but this is utter stupidity. Stop being so hard on Tiago... he hasn't even played.

from what I've seen so far in the preseason, and what I saw in the reruns of Lyon games on Setanta from last season, I'm not too impressed

lets just wait and see if I'm right...

I agree with you. I've never been overly impressed by Tiago.

I'll have to go along with you on this one- Tiago, although a solid player, is never going to light up a match. I fear he was at his best three seasons ago, and that in football is a long time.

Your point about Portuguese players is, of course, nonsense.

You don't understand players like Tiago. Ranieri probably doesn't either. If you don't give him a specific role on the side of midfield, you will waste him.

I just think not too many people here understand what a player such as Tiago can do for a side, but then again they don't give him a chance, which is all too common. Give him a motherfucking chance for a change. It's no joke when people state you're far too critical sometimes, Vinni. We haven't even played one real match yet.

It is obvious that you like Tiago- I hope you are right about him, although you seem to be already making excuses by saying Ranieri doesn't know how to use him- but the point is that many remain to be convinced that the player of three seasons ago, can be rejuvenated this season. My feeling, from experience, is that players seldomly return to their best after such a long time, in the footballing sense.

Let's hope the doubters are wrong.

What is all this nonsense about players from three years ago? Tiago was one of Mourinho's favorites at Chelsea and a key player for Lyon last season. I don't think you people know much about Tiago. The man won several crucial matches for Lyon while key players were out, games in which he took the horns and shoved them into the sides of the opposing side. Tiago has started two matches thus far, and after that has suffered with an a virus.

It just boggles my mind why many of you keep bringing this, "player of three seasons ago," crap up. Tiago was better at Chelsea than Benfica and better at Lyon than Chelsea. You do the math.

I do like Tiago, but I'm not biased here... I've just seen enough of him to know he can do a damn good job on the right side of midfield. It's not easy to settle into a new country and new side, so please, give him a little time, will you?
