I wont get too much into the tactical side of the game, as we clearly lack. I want to thank Andy and Greg for explaining our shortcomings, and saving me 25 minutes of typing !!:D

What bothers me most is the best thing we have going for us is HEART. I dont know what RUINeri does in his training sessions, but it clearly isnt tactical work, or even the fundamentals of the game. If I can give him any credit for anything, its for having our guys pumped up to play...thats about it.

Zanetti and Nocerino in the center of the midfield worked to a certain point, but we desperately need a playmaker in there who is able to get the ball to the forwards, because Trez only touched the ball twice yesterday...which is unacceptable in my book.

Neddy, as I've said before, is getting old before our eyes, and I cannot believe that he tried to score from 30 plus yards on two occasions yesterday, where he had an unmarked, streaking Nocerino who was clear to the goal

Which brings up the other major flaw I saw yesterday, and several other times this season. Why are we so poor in the final third of the field ? Why dont we ever execute passes to our forwards (namely Trez) in the box ? We always seem to either take the impossible shot from distance, or get the ball taken away from piss-poor passes. I wont even bring up the long-ball syndrome that our team is infected with.

For anyone keeping score, our media-sweetheart Legro was fully responsible for Cruz's goal, and made the same mistake a few moments later with Zlatan, but Chellini was able to bail his ass out of.

As I said before this game, and enough times this season, RUINeri is nothing better than a mid-table EPL coach, and we are playing like a mid-table EPL team....

Top 4 ?? I have my doubts

My ratings-

Buffon 7.5- showed why he is the best in the world

Grygera 5.5- pressed forward and got caught too many times out of position, leaving his side wide opened

Legrottaglie 5.5- his mistake cost us a goal, and luckily his other ones didnt

Chiellini 7.5- was responsible for keeping Zlatan off the scoresheet, and keeping him off his game. This guy is the real deal !! The flying elbow was unneccessary, but I wasnt too upset about it

Molinaro 5.5- how he commands a starting shirt is beyond me... Figo made him look silly too many times. Sell him in January !!

Palladino 6- showed great speed and ball skills, but cannot cross the ball worth anything, and his passing needs improvement. He isnt an outside mid

Nocerino 6- defensively, he's good...he breaks up plays very well, but his passing needs improvement as well

Zanetti 6- same as Nocerino, he is strong and is a real presence in the midfield...but he has to join Palla, Nocerino, and others in passing drills

Nedved 5.5- slowing down and becoming less and less effective, not to mention his impossible shots from distance.

Trezeguet 5.5- only touched the ball twice the entire game, and hit the upper deck with his only shot

Del Piero 6- lots of hustle, and was all over the place trying to make something happen. Tried too hard to make his free kicks from distance into goals, when he could have simply put the ball in the box for someone to get a head on

Camo 7.5- my MOM !! He came on, and his presence was immediately felt. We need him to be 100%, and maybe he can show this team, and our idiot coach just how Juve is suppose to play !!

Zebina NR- wasnt in long enough for me to notice

Iaquinta 6- showed pace and determination, and assisted on Camo's goal

Ranieri 4.5- I am not impressed with what he's done, and I dont see us getting much better. Mid-table EPL coach

Our defense has 4 spots to fill and i think its easier to find a CB as good as Chiellini, than a LB as good as him:choc:

It did?
juve is the only side which proved that they can match up to inter despite inter having spent millions of money more than juve yes we dont have best of players and a great coach but as buffon once said victory is in our dna

almost agree, but you should give credit to Ranieri. The offside trap work succesfully. I think it's part of our tactics.

If we don't play that offside trap tactic, I won't be surprised we will be end up like AS Roma.

Moratti Blasts Nedved For Figo Foul

Inter President Massimo Moratti was furious with Pavel Nedved after his foul on Luis Figo put the Portuguese star out of last night’s game.

Figo limped off the field in the 62nd minute of the Derby d’Italia with Juventus after receiving a kick to the ankle from Nedved.

“The foul on Figo was very ugly, he was hurt bad,” said a livid Moratti.

Moratti also believed that Inter deserved to win the game after Mauro Camoranesi came off the bench to earn Juventus a 1-1 draw.

"It was a vigorous, interesting and dignified match that we will remember as positive even if Inter were fairly unlucky because of the many chances created," said the oil baron.

"I was expecting my players to play like they did. There could have been more goals but its fine like this - a draw away from home is a good result. Juventus played with great pride and got the equaliser.

"The Bianconeri are more than a danger, just like the other three big teams chasing us, so we will have to be careful

The same fookers who are asking Nedved to retire, they'll be praising him few days from now.
I don't know if people are saying Nedved is finished. More that the current workload placed on him is too much to expect for a man of 35 years day in and day out. He should be used a little more sparingly, so that he's rested enough for electric performances.

While I enjoyed his tackle on Figo (which honestly didn't look that grisly cause he did get the ball after all), his play aside from that looked tired.

i agree with most of it, but one minute people criticise ranieri, and when ever he does anything good hes just lcuky. i think he did the right thing in terms of subs, afterall, camo did score.

and to give DP the same rating as palladino is wrong in my book.

and honestly, seriously, at a mature level, stop calling ranieri ruineri, thats just childish and frankly, you are 35 you know better. it is in the rules that insulting players or staff is against them.

It didn't seem tough foul on screen...

I was impressed by four players last night
1 - Chiellini , the backbone of our team . He has proved time and time again that he is something special . He took Ibra (inter's biggest threat ) right out of the game and with such consistency and persistence for 90 minutes . This guy plays with heart and that's what I admire most about him . A true Juventino .

2- Palladino and not Palladinho ( What's with it with these brazilian nicknames ) ... He was our best weapon and dribbled past the inter defenders countless times and with class . I liked him more on the left flank than on the right but I'd prefer for him to play as a striker as crossing isn't his best skill . Playing 90 minutes against Inter at his age means a lot . The more he plays the more he makes an impact .

3- Camoranesi comes in and changes the entire game from head to to toe .
A brilliant player . I'd love to see him play right behind the strikers rather than on the right wing . His creativity , speed , dribbling , and passing skills are perfect for that role .
