you must have missed the Coppa debacle on thursday, because playing many of these guys at the same time was disasterous

rest assured, if I was the manager, I'd bring in better players
thats too easy to say, you have no managerial experience, but then again if you did become one, you would probably learn how hard it is but easy to criticise.

My thoughts are a little different than some I've read here....

We definitely had a better first half with our superior pace and short passing game (which surprised the hell out of me)...all that seemed to be missing was a goal, and Trez had a few good chances to put one away, and didnt

In the second half, we seemed to slow down a bit, and Atalanta pressed forward much more than they did in the first half. We had a few chances through DP, but couldnt capitalize. We were definitely heading for a draw, but Neddy saved our asses !!!

Player ratings-

Buffon- 6.5- One real good save was all that was needed !!

Zebina- 5.8- I cant give him a 5.5 or a 6, so I compromised !! :) Not too bad defensively, but when he charges forward with the ball, and then has it taken away, and leaves his whole side open because of it, that leads to problems. A completely unnecessary yellow card for kicking the ball away in anger, when will he learn ?

Legro- 6- I reluctantly give him a 6 rating- he was burned twice by the same player using the same move...he was decent otherwise

Chiellini- 6.5- He was pretty much mistake free, and kept his temper in check

Molinaro- 6- Many here seem to think he was so good...but compared to his past performances, anything is better !! He was ok on the defensive side, concentrated more on his passes and crosses, but still isnt up to par. Arrivederci in January

Palladino- 5.5- Is no Camo, thats for sure. He plays better on the left side of the field, and crosses better with his left foot, as he painfully showed today. I'm not at all impressed with him

Nocerino- 7- Man, he was all over the place !! He is a real battler, and never slows down. Almost had a goal, and had a couple of decent passes. A real ball winner !!

Zanetti- 6- Was overshadowed by Nocerino's performance, but was solid nevertheless. He isnt a creative player, but managed a few good passes, and stayed out of the book as well

Nedved- 7.5- My MOM. He single- handedly won the game for us with his continious running, never say die attitude, and amazing blast from 30 meters. He obviously still has some fuel left in the tank, so lets hope he has enough to get him throught the season. I would like to see him play behind the strikers in a more free role (trequartista), so we can take advantage of his precise long distance shots (just like Lippi use to play him)

Trez- 5.5- He had enough chances in the first half to make something happen. The second half he was almost invisible (not entirely his fault)

Iaqunita- 5.5- He showed pace in the first half, and that was about it. Really ineffective for the 45 minutes

Marchionni- 5- Another waste of Juve money. Cant pass or cross, so why is he here ?? Had NO effect on the game whatsoever...Arrivederci in January

DP -6- He added more to the game than Iaquinta, with some nice moves against the Atalanta defense, and a few decent free kicks. The offense just didnt seem to get much going in the second half, even with DP's creativity

Ranieri - 6- the jury is still out...this team has too many subs that dont belong on this team, and maybe even Serie A. I hope that some personnel changes are made in January, because if we have a string of injuries, we may be fucked
 short passing? are you nuts?!!? every ball forward was a long one in the first half and it barely worked at all.

Indeed.

Ale wouldn't do that unless it really needed done. I still wish he could have done it privately though.
Nah, doing it in public infront of everyone is smarter and better.

-Ranieri: Neddy saved his ass last night, i dont know why he made those two subs at half time. Palladino wasn't the best on the field but he was better than marchionni. And changing the team just like that in HT when you're on 0-0 isn't necessary at all imo. And as good as zanetti was we needed something more from the midfield and Tiago should've introduced after the 75th minute.
Both of them were rubbish yesterday. But If I had to pick one, I'd go with Marco.

What are you talking about? We passed the ball well in the first half, particularly on our left side. We started to lose our way a bit at the start of the second half but went back to playing the ball along the ground when Del Piero started to make his mark.

i may not remember correctly because of a serious hangover, but i recall that we were passing like shit, long and short. but maybe that's just me.

Agreed!!

But u gotta admitt that paying 21 mill. euros for 2 players who play in the exact same position & with nearly the exact same style & then benching both of them for nearly half of a season now is STUPID!!

Anyway I dont criticize Ranieri as much as people do but all I know from the guy's history is that he is not a Winner & I dont think he will ever be one,I think he is okay for this season & that he is doin a good job but Juve fans all around the world are used to winning & only winning & I hope our board are smart enough to get a Winner coach with a strong personality who can bring world class players to Juve so that we can get back where we left 2 years ago.

Forza Juve

I thought our play in the first half was very good. Molinaro and Nedved produced some of our best football all season down the left flank.

Well they sure know how to rate ppl

Legro - 6,36

Chiellini - 6,10

Nocerino - 6,00

I wonder do you even know how to give ratings?
Chiellini and Nocerino have lower average ratings than Molinaro??
Thats what they think?

He didn't and that's why they gave him a very good rating for yesterday. This number Marko probided is Nedved's average rating for the last 15 rounds. And apart from the last 3 matches Nedved was really bad so far.

i thought we played it around ok, but knowhere near as good as we could have. i saw too many balls high in the air, imo i thought we should have tried to pass it along the floor a lot nore than we did.
