Of course you can, but the only reason you're bashing Del Piero is because that's the only way you show us you know something about football. It's not because you dislike Del Piero you're smart, andy.
Oh, and you know so much about football because you detest Zlatan Ibrahimovic and love Del Piero. You're a genious Seven. Infact I have not seen you post anything other than Del Piero or Beckham arguements. You are hardly one to comment on this Seven.

Like many have told you before go to a Del Piero forum, so that the rest of us can talk about something OTHER than Del Piero. Please.

Andy, and to all the rest: Its not worth talking or discussing about footbal with a guy, who likes or actually thinks that Beckham is a good player! Damn Seven, you are strange. But its me to post the 3 argumentes you wanted.

- He scored a goal. I thought you know something about football, otherwise, you would know, that goals are needed in football.

- He was very creative and tried a lot up front. We need a striker like him. Creativity is something we sometimes lack at Juve, and this guy showed, that he is creative.

- Players give him the ball, on counter attacks, and he can hold it for a couple of seconds, allowing the other players to come forward, and receive a pass from him.

I find it hard to believe that Zlatan was the worst player on pitch. Just for the record 3 things Zlatan did:
- Scored a nice goal
- He actually went back defensively & there was a very clever interception he did.
- Zlatan's movement off the ball was good & he is not afraid to try things. Remember when he went past a defender & tried to lob another? If that worked he would have scored a beautiful goal. Zlatan keeps the defenders on their toes.

and what he didn't too well:
- He should seriously work on his headers
- I think he should have tried some shots instead of passing the ball.

Am not a DP basher but to suggest that Capello subbed DP so that he could get a standing ovation is just simply wack.
:dielaugh:

Andy - It is indeed a noble job to feed the hungry. Nothing to be ashamed of. It is ridiculous of you to try that as a joke.

Juventus, without Miccoli and Chiellini, got back to winning ways against Udinese. Boss Fabio Capello went for a more attacking 3-4-3 system but it was Mauro Camoranesi who proved to be key in the victory. While Emerson and Zlatan Ibrahimovic impressed, the winger was the home side’s star man. This current Juve team can’t seem to do without him right now and he capped off a great display with a splendid goal.

I don't suppose that will mean anything to you Seven.

- He did score a goal yes, I have to admit that :D. And I've always said that he indeed scored the goal, but didn't do anything apart from that.

- No he wasn't creative. In which play exactly did a nice creative move from Zlatan break up Udinese's defense? Btw, trying things is absolutely worthless, succeeding at things is needed.

- Yes, players give him the ball, yes he holds it for a couple of seconds but no, no-one ever receives a pass from Zlatan.

And for the last time, I don't think Beckham is a good player ATM. But you can not deny that he has been a great player. Someone that is able to create an entire market for himself has got to be a good football player and has got to be smart. That's no contradictio in terminis you know. You can be smart AND be a good football player.

Oh really? Yet I was in the stadium when Capello took DP off 5 minutes before the whistle and Del Piero did get a standing ovation, Ali. I was there, I saw Del Piero get a standing ovation. I know DP isn't very liked on this forum, nor is Beckham, but just because a player is popular doesn't mean he's worthless.

It worked and the interesting thing is that when Trez was subbed Udinese were all over us.
Exactly. Why? Because Trezeguet ran like hell. Zlatan and Del Piero didn't. Oh and another thing about Zlatan holding the ball: it was very nice to see Zlatan standing there, holding the ball, still holding the ball, still not moving until he got finally kicked down very harshly by an Udinese defender.

Or that other time when he ran at a defender, rolled the ball under his foot, gave it to the defender, and then spread his arms saying "if that didn't work, then what can I do?"
