it is a disaster,
We just can not get back into a game if we fall behind.. our game is too static.. every player keeps his position, and it is so easy to keep juve out of the game.:(

And most of our player can not flank....

Only Zlatan did well tonight. he did great moves . and del piero was not bad.. if juve plays this way against real, then we have only 2 games to be playen in CL

Those statements are almost as retarded as someone who started a "We are the champions thread" just because we WERE 8 points ahead of Milan.........Milan will be in first place by mid March, mark my words....

Thats an understatement. I knew that thread would would come back to haunt us.

u cant just blame one player. its clearly a team thing. some people focus too much on Alex. we know how he is, just leave it lol. The chances didnt come because of the poor showing in midfield today. And camoranesi was off his game also. And with juve, if the wingers dont work, then the team dont work.

actually we deserve the shiit that happened today.

DP start the match with a big confidence from cappello. why ?

i don't know may cuz he scored from a penalty while zlatan was the most active player since he joined the game . its really weird from Mr cappello.

we did lose its normal and i guess its Mafia rules.. the leader must loose so the stimulation of calcio keep running.

Trez has been absolute pants since he returned, he's our only reliable goal scorer.

Del Piero made two nice moves in the first half, thats it. In the second half he did absolutely nothing, and hopefully people now see why Capello starts Zlatan....
That's such an unfair comment, Andy. Like Vinman, I think DP played a pretty good game. He was IMO one of our best players in the first half (I know, that's not saying much, but the effort was clearly there whereas Trez was completely invisible). He had a lot of touches on the ball and did some nice things with it, including start the move that saw Kapo nearly score, and beat his marker to win corners a few times. In the second half he was asked to play out of position and did a good job. He kept possession well and unlike most of our players, moved into good positions to get the ball. He distributed the ball well up until the final minutes when he had no support on the left and had a nice interchange with Zlatan. He also came very close to scoring, only a super save from Antonioli denied him. I'd start him in tandem with Zlatan against Palermo this weekend, or maybe in a trident attack seeing as Camo, Neddy and Kapo will all be unavailable.

You are right, Trezeguet was crap, too. But the whole team was crap. But Trezeguet has also good games, I can't remember the last game DP was playing great. But I don't want to argue anymore.
You can't remember or you don't want to remember? DP was world-class today compared to Trezeguet.

This is a vague analysis of how I think the players did.

Good: Ibrahimovic, Thuram

Average: Del Piero, Cannavaro, Blasi, Emerson, Zambrotta, Birindelli, Buffon

Shite: everyone else

With all do respect Stuart, my comment was spot on. He did sweet FA in the second half, just like Trezeguet. Sure, he made some good passes around the pitch, which SHOULD be expected of him, but that amounts to nothing and thats about it from him tonight. Everything is always about Del Piero, however nobody played well today.

You clearly misunderstood me. I know that DP wasn't brilliant today, and saying that he was world-class compared to Trez was meant to criticise the latter's performance, not say that Ale did really well.

No, I clearly understand what you meant. My point is that Trezeguet's job is to finish off chances, however he only got two opportunities to score. That is not enough. The midfielders and other forwards are supposed to supply the ball for him to work his magic in the area. Was DP not one of those other forwards? Trezeguet never is involved in the match, so its nothing new. He is in there to finish off chances created by the other players around him. He did not recieve any service today.

How do good passes amount to nothing? He was practically playing as a midfielder, what did you want him to do? Skin six defenders and lob Antonioli from 30 yards out? Compared to the others, DP was good. He distributed the ball better than anyone else on the pitch, and to say that that amounts to nothing because he's expected to do so is complete bullshit. Because Shevchenko is expected to score goals, it amounts to nothing when he does so? Folly. Del Piero was the second most dangerous Juve player on the pitch today so to say that all he did was make two nice moves is rubbish.

The fact of the matter is, Stuart, you and I can go in there and make some passes around the pitch, however when it comes to creating chances, Del Piero did absolutely nothing except for one shot. Thats what we needed, for somebody to step up and create chances for our team. Nobody did that, except for Zlatan by using his own strength and skill to make a shot on goal out of nothing. Thats creating opportunities on net. The rest of the attacking players were by all means horrible in the second half.
