when juve where struggling before the winter break, u all said juve will lose and milan will crush them, last week u were hailing the juventus team... and now u lost confidence again........

football is like this, u can't always win. now this is the explanation for the defeat against samp. : over confidence (8 pts lead)

Well, what a pathetic match. We could not create anything in attack, and did not take our chances. Sampdoria took their chance and won the game, a full-deserved victory for them. We lacked pretty much everything in attack, especially movement, good touches, quick passes, and our players were not on the same page. Most importantly, we lacked passion and grit. All I saw was eleven players out there jogging around like the game was some sort of joke scrimmage; no passion whatsoever. The only player who deserves any sort of recognition in this match is Zlatan, as he basically made all the chances we had in the second half all by himself. I wish he would have started this match.

Buffon did not have much to do.

Birindelli did not do much either, and if Zebina was playing we would have had more of a presence on the right of the pitch and in attack.

Thuram was solid however he did not look good with the ball today.

Cannavaro was solid but again he did not do much, same as Thuram.

Zambrotta should have made more runs up the pitch. After Kapo went off with injury it seemed like he stopped making surging runs upfield. We need his runs if we want to score goals.

Camoranesi gave the ball away too much again and did not create much at all. Second half was worse than the first.

Emerson looked inept with the ball tonight, and did not do much. This goes down as one of his least inspirational performances of the year.

Tacchinardi was at fault by letting Castellini get his head to the ball, which led to the Diana goal. Not good enough and I am glad he was subbed.

Blasi was soild and looked more into the match than Emerson. His highlight was a blistering shot which almost caught upper 90. If that was the best shot of the night you know your team was in trouble.

Kapo was good until he was subbed. IMO if he was still on through the whole match we would have created more and possibly even scored. After he went off there was nobody doing anything on the left side of the pitch. Where's Zambrotta?

Trezeguet did absolutely nothing at all.

Del Piero made two nice moves in the first half, thats it. In the second half he did absolutely nothing, and hopefully people now see why Capello starts Zlatan....

Ibrahimovic came on and actually made some scoring opportunities for us, all by himself. I don't care what anybody says, Zlatan should have started this match and if he did we would have at least a draw after this so-called "performance." He is critical to our success this season.

Montero is just worthless. Plain and simple.

Hopefully Capello will teach our team how to move and play in attack. Looks like we still have not learned how to yet.

I'm not simply classing it on results but also performances, they have been below acceptable to me. It's not like it's only a few games we play badly, more like 90% of them. But when the results have been positive nobody really says too much, when they're negative it's painfully highlighted.

comparing to an unfit Trezgeuet,he should start with DP and Zlatan...or use rotation system.

The only way we are going to win matches is if we score first. If we let the opposition take the lead, we become flustered and bewildered and cannot do anything in attack. Once teams sit back against us everything is on lock down, especially the opposition's goal.

efficiency what matters, regardless of how we play........ not saying that im satisfied with them, but juve are efficient when they are in good shape...

It's about time that we loose actually. We have played awfully bad the whole season and this night, when the margins wasn't with us, we all saw what happened. I'm to tired to get mad today.. I'm just a bit disappointed with how we play and that we lack depth in our squad and league-winning quality..

but if u just have a look at my previous posts u will realize that this is my openion over the last 3 months and i will give u a brief
*when juve signed MUTU i said its a useless deal for time being cuz its not going to correct any of our present problems

its not a matter of one game lost but its a matter of a lost faith which and i think most of juve fans do so

Honestly, I was more pi$$ed off when we threw away 2 points against Cagliari. In this game, it sounds like we were never in a position where we looked like winning.

I know alot of you don't rate Inter, but this Samp would've beaten them 0-2 if not for the most extraordinary last 5 mins of football I've ever seen.

Where do I begin with this rant ????

I can agree with most of what Andy said, we lacked hunger out there, and we had a terrible day offensively....

I thought DP had a good game, he did everything but score. In the second half, he was asked to play out of position, and did it just fine

All the people on this forum who want to throw DP under the bus, maybe you should start channeling that energy towards a guy who does NOTHING for this team, unless the ball is at his feet inside the box- TREZEGUET !!

Trez didnt do dickshit today, and is only effective when the ball comes to him 2 feet from the goal line. Even Lilliana could sit there and tap in a ball that comes to her feet , damnit !!!

Montero is the icing on the cake...everytime this chump gets near the ball, my heart skips a beat. We should have GIVEN him to Livorno for their help in the Mutu saga.

While I'm on that subject, I see some ppl on Mutu's thread saying "we'll have him for the CL final in May..." ARE YOU PEOPLE F UCKING CRAZY ???? We will not get past Real Madrid in this round !!!!! We proved today that we don't have the offense, nor the rest that is needed to beat Real,. Chelsea, Milan, or even Sampdoria, for that matter, as we proved today.....

Those statements are almost as retarded as someone who started a "We are the champions thread" just because we WERE 8 points ahead of Milan.........Milan will be in first place by mid March, mark my words....

Last, but not least, I get to Moggi....This so-called guru doesn't see that this team needs reinforcements NOW ???? You don't have to be a football pundit to see that we need 1 more player in the midfield (at least) and 2 more in the defense. Believe me, this will be a repeat of last season, where we come away with NO trophies !!!!!!!!!!

i watched the game (unfortunately) and here are my ratings

buffon 6 - nothing to do

birindelli 5.5 - gave ball away, uncertain at the back, bad passing, terrible

cannavaro 5.5 - no communication with thuram, his worst performance of season

thuram 6 - slightly better than canna but still poor

zambrotta 6.5 - some good attacking runs, gave his all as usual

Emerson - 6.5 - tried to surge team forward, not at his best though

Tacchi 6 - didnt do much wrong but nothing special

Camo 5.5 - bad passing, terrible flicks, rubbish crossing, bad performance

Kapo 6 - great start.missed chance, was missed by the team

Dep Piero 6 -looked sharp in the first half and like he had given up in the seond. Some nice touches

Trezeguet 5.5 - forgot he was playin in the first half, couple of headers in the second half. Not enough work done for the team

Subs

Blasi 6 - full of energy but no real purpose to his play

Ibra 7.5 - Ive not been his greatest fan this season but he was magic. Everything went through him in 2nd half and almost changed game single handedly. Only player to come out of game with any real credit. Wonderful

Montero 6 -did nothing wrong, looked like he wanted to kill someone on the pitch(normal for him), pointless change though, why did Cap not chuck on Zala?

Notes
- no purpose in midfield passed side to side insted of goin forward
-Trez shud be dropped for next game, id go Zlatan/Dp
-Birindelli is rubbish
- Our defence had no communication all night

thats my personal opinion on game, it was a bad performance but we still 5 clear at top, we still gunna win scudetto (hopefully) but cant perform like that agen.

Forza Juventus
