gray's team seems like the line up Lippi is putting out. Tudor, Appiah and Davids are going to form the trident to stop the attacking abilities of roma.

Personally, i think its sad that Maresca isnt chosen for this game. He is the perfect replacement for Tacchinardi and a long with Appiah or Davids next to him, juve is just as strong.

i'm hoping that tudor really stays deep and helps out our defence if he is chosen in midfield. We dont seem to be solid down back.

If Tudor is fit, line him up next to Legro in the centre of defence. dont play tudor in midfield just to field him.

anyway, i'm hoping we win this game, although i think we will draw or lose as we have had two hard fought games in the past few week whereas Roma havent.

i think juve's desire for trophies has reached something of a plateau- or at least is slowing...we arent training with the fever we had a season or 2 back. our optimism is down. our goals are shady, everything is kinda slow...
And how would you know how they are training? Are you physically attending the training sessions?

Why is our optimism down? We actually were worse off 2 seasons ago.

Shady goals? We scored 9 goals in 3 matches. Wow sue me if that is bad!

I do think Tudor is a good choice, especially if he plays like he did against Galatasaray. He's back on track and when physically fit, he's one of our best players.

I agree that Lippi opted for more central midfielders rather than more forwards, as whenever we played with more forwards, our midfielders could not keep up with the opposition. We are more balanced this way, though I do hope Lippi succeeds in finding a good balance for the 4-2-31 so we can use it in future again.

I agree, maybe try put him next to Legro in Montero's place, and then give Maresca a chance in the 3-man DM setup :thumb:

I don't think we're fielding Tudor just for the sake of it... he's a good tall presence and a strong player (maybe he'll even score :extatic:). I agree that it's sad Maresca hasn't been chosen... I think he's perfect to fill that role, and this should really be his chance... maybe he'll get subbed on during the game? I just don't think he's gotten enough chances so far, and one of football's sad paradoxes sets in: A player seems to be bursting with potential, but you can't risk playing him, because he hasn't had enough experience, so you can't play him, even though he seems to be bursting with potential, but he doesn't have enough match experience, so you can't risk playing him, even though he seems to have so much potential, but you can't risk playing him, because he doesn't have enough match experience, even though he's got so much potential, but you can't risk playing him...

*pulling out hair* GIVE THE POOR BOY A CHANCE

Inter-Sampdoria 30' Martins misses a good chance... the ball breaks to him behind the clustered defence 4m out - but he places it just wide right!!!!!!!!

 Inter continue to struggle against newly promoted teams :howler:

Inter played 2 out of their 3 first matches against newly promoted teams while the third team is another low team, yet they still struggled. And we have to wait for the 6th match of the season to start playing newly promoted teams

Anyway maybe we should talk about Inter in the Serie A Thread ;)

Shit! Why? How?

Cheer up! Things can't be that bad if you still have the mood for Juve's match!:frown:

In Hong Kong it's 10:10 night time now and the match will be on at around 2:30...

So it's about 4 hrs 15 minutes to the game.

I beg your pardon my dear Gray....

Do you think a person who works full time in a school could afford this luxury of getting up in the middle of the night, watching the game, then starting to get ready for work??

I did this quite a few times during the CL period last season and I felt so damn awful the next day. A body with no soul....:skull:

I might watch the Juve-Roma game for a short while if I ever need to get up to go to the bathroom...:sleepy:
