Don't let the result fool you. We didn't play that good. Better than our previous game performances, but no championship quality. Best players on the pitch, well only good players, were Zambrotta and Maresca. Nedved, Trez, Camoranesi, Tachi, Appiah, they all had glimpses of what they are capable of. In the first half, i turned off the TV, i got so mad at juve. Biridelli and Tudor will simply ridiculous in defense. Did you see the mistakes they made. Unforgivable. If we were playing against Milan, their mistakes would have been magnified in the form of goals. Luckliy today wasnt Kamara's day, or else our defense would have been split apart. Well it was split apart, luckily Buffon and Zambro and Thuram were there.
Anyways, its good to see Zambro back. His pace down the left-flank was a pain-in-theass for MOdena. Nedved didnt look like his best either, misplacing some passes. But he made a couple of sublime crosses that we excpect from him. Maresca got a little too excited at some parts of the game, with too many shots on goal, but he was the real catalyst in Juve's sudden blow of goals.
As the commentator said, "who are we to question the wisdom of Marcello Lippi." He said that after he subbed Di Vaio for Appiah.
I liked that one.
