Buffon

Zambrotta Cannavaro Thuram Balzeretti

Camo Emo Viera Mutu

Trez Dp

Subs:
60th min Zlatan in for Dp

Buffon: is doing well so far, deserves his place

Zambrotta: best at his position.

Cannavaro: did well agaonst chievo.

Thuram: Better than Kovac, at least for now ...

Balzeretti: Did well in the last two matches.... Cheillini should work harder to retain his position... One thing i like about Balzeretti is that he can start an attack without running the whole left flank( Cheillini's style), his long passes help him alot.

Camo: was good against chievo, didnt desrve to be replaced, but for some reason Capello likes Del piero in Camo's position.!!!!

Emo: best at his position:

Viera: we didnt see his best yet, however he is still the best at his position.

Mutu: the best by far against Chievo, his speed and fitness put him ahead of Nedved for the time being.

Trez: doesn't do much, but just like the other world class strikers he is a goalscoring machine.

Dp: his class make me choose him ahead of Zlatan , however Zlatan can replace him at the 60th min .

i think BOTH balzaretti and chilleni have been impressive.balzaretti has made an impression in the extremley limited time on the pitch he has been given.i think its cruel that only one of balzaretti and chilleni have to play in the starting 11,i think both of them have done enough to start.
i hope atleast one of them is a major part of our future..for once,we need a breath of fresh air in the team.

Good thinking man but it wont happen because Capello is always convinced to play with 2 half defenders so if he wants to rest Emerson he will play with either Blasi or Gianich...:agree:

i dont need 5 goal margins to be satisfied. 4-1 over roma is enough for me

Is Zlatan really suspended?? If yes, what's this preview from Associated Press??

Juventus expected to rebound against Empoli

ROME (AP) - Juventus is hoping for an 11th straight home win Sunday to quash the hope its title rivals felt revived by the league leader's mid-week slip.

Juve hosts lowly Empoli at Stadio Delle Alpi in the 21st round of Italy's top league having drawn 1-1 at Chievo Verona on Wednesday. Second-place Inter Milan is eight points behind the leader after winning 1-0 at last-place Treviso, while AC Milan is two points further back after a 1-0 win over visiting Ascoli.

Juventus coach Fabio Capello said his team was prepared to resume the pace that gave its club a mid-season record 52 points. The Turin club crossed the halfway mark last weekend with 17 wins, one draw and one loss.

"Our Milan rivals have recovered two points and they are rightly happy," Capello said. "However I'm not worried. The draw at Chievo did not ring any alarm bell. The title fight is far than over with 18 matches to go, but we are confident we can stay in the lead through the end of the season."

Defending champion Juventus is aiming for its 29th Serie A title.

Capello suggested that he planned to start strikers David Trezeguet and Zlatan Ibrahimovic against Empoli, even though the former, who has 15 goals this season, had a nine-match scoring streak snapped over his past two games.

Empoli, thrashed by Juventus 4-0 earlier this season, is coming off a 1-1 draw with Udinese which left it in the lower half of the table. The Tuscan club has allowed 35 goals, one of the worst Serie A defences.

I would go with:

...........................................1-Buffon..........................................

..19-Zambrotta........21-Thuram......28-Cannavaro.......14-Balzaretti..

..16-Camoranesi.......4-Vieira..........8-Emerson............11-Nedved....

..............................17-Trezeguet....10-Del Piero..........................

- Buffon: well he's ready to become regular, now (again) Forza Gigi!

- Thuram: Kovac is new from injury, I would play him against Roma in Coppa

- Balza: Deserves, very impressive so far eh

- Emerson...well he's a starter..we should have big lead this match, he looks tired, so I say sub Emo with Blasi or Gianni when/if everything is desided..

- Nedved: regular...Mutu can be too, though

- Del Piero: Ibra is suspended, so...

- Trez: look here ^^^

Forza Juventus - The Flagman of Italian Football !!!

PS I hope we'll score at least 2 goals (DP & Trez) and Gigi would keep clean sheet, the thing he does the best ;)
