Empoli Decide That The Somma Doesn't Add Up

Mario Somma is no longer Empoli’s coach.

The best coach of last year’s Serie B campaign was sacked by the Tuscan minnows this afternoon following the home draw Empoli notched against Udinese yesterday.

Empoli have not won a match since early November when they beat Reggina 3-0.

They now sit four points above the relegation zone, after starting the season in an impressive manner.

Former Lazio coach Giuseppe Papadopulo is expected to take over the job from Somma.

it doesnt matter if hes a keeper, you cant really be a professional player with 1 arm (at least if you havnt been used to it your whole life)

just think of trying to run in a straight line :scared:

He's more of a team supporter----but i guess Del Piero. But if he doesn't perform then my dad doesn't care, he doesn't play. And he thinks Zlatan is importantto the team too.

Buffon/Abbiati
Zambrotta - Thuram - Cannavaro - Balzaretti
Camoranesi - Emerson - Vieira - Mutu
Trezeguet - Del Piero

That's our best lineup atm and because of the injury to Nedved and Zlatan's suspension Capello will probably play it.

A big win could be on the cards as the boys will be keen to make up for the draw at Chievo and Trezeguet will be particularly hungry for a goal.

Nice !

We should win 3 or 4-0 !
