Well in the preseason it worked nicely. They connected with each other very well. I feel they both understood each other well.
About capello not wanting it to work, that might be a harsh thing to say about him. He is still a good coach.
Yeah...I saw them having a good understanding in the preseason.....thats why I'd like to see them.

will i think it will be used more when he really needs too, thats when one of our wengers(neddy, camo) get injured then he will not have any options in midfield then he will have to shift the formation to 4-3-3.

but for this match i dont know, dont think the the trident will be used.As ascoli wont be the attacking team that will be going to be forward and giving up space in the back.So we will need to have the tall forwards upfront and i wont be surprised if zala would be infront of DP and mutu in the pecking order.

anyway hope we have a good game and more importantly get the 3 points

My lineup:

Abbiati

Blasi - Kovac - Cannavaro - Zambrotta

Camoranesi - Vieira - Emerson - Nedved

Trezeguet - Ibrahimovic

Ascoli isn't to be taken lightly. They have acquired two draws already. However I have complete faith that Capello will field a team who'll destroy Ascoli with class and elegance.

I hope and expect that we at this point start rotating the team and let both DP and Mutu get som qualitytime on the filed.

But...., you´ll never know...

Considering there will be a big game on the following wednesday, the lineup on Sunday should be like this:

Code:
                  Chimenti

Balzaretti Gladstone Cannavaro Chiellini
Zambrotta Emerson Giannichedda Mutu
              Zalayeta Del Piero

Agree, but i would still play Viera, hes a tough guy coming from the english league, he can handle it.

Yes, we can play Vieia in this formation, I put Giannichedda just to replace one of Emerson or Vieira, I'd rather rest one of them.

Why are so many people putting Chimenti on their list??

Have you all forgotten we have ABIATTI on our squad now? Surely he's better?
Did you see how shaky Abbiati was in the past 3 games?

I dont trust him, with all the scandals going on in Seria A i wouldnt be surprised Abbiati taking orders from Berlusconi.

I did not have a good sence about Abbiati from the begnning...
IMO we should have tried to get the worlds best 2nd keeper... Carlo Cudicini...

Chiemente surley deserves the chance...

Have you forgotten how shaky Chimenti has been for so long now? Abbiati may be the weakest link in the Juve lineup atm but he's the best we have in that position for now. Dropping him won't help his confidence and we as the fans are going to have to show a little bit of confidence in him seeing as he's going to be our first choice keeper for a few more months.

I would play:

Abbiati
Balzaretti - Kovac - Cannavaro - Chiellini
Zambrotta - Emerson - Giannichedda
Del Piero - Mutu
Trezeguet

If all goes well Gladstone can make his Juve debut in the second half and Zala can come on for Trez.
