Buffon
Caceres-Cannavaro-Chiellini-De Ceglie
Candreva-Sissoko
Iago-Diego-Giovinco
Del Piero

Against Genoa we should explore the wings as much as possible.
Thats basically zero players out of postion. Don't think that is going to happen.

Im very, very, very sad......I am too fucking depressed to post line-ups, predictions etc...........ill watch this game simply because i love Juventus to death...........nothing feels allright this year. We have been humiliated countless times so far. I feel humiliated............but, for the sake of it, FORZA JUVENTUS!!!!

That's the spirit!

Na. The primary goal is a clean sheet. We will win no matches until we relearn how to do that first.

I dont believe in that saying "Offence is the best defence". But i believe that "having no offence is the worst defence". And that is the situation with Juventus right now. So untill we solve the problem in the attacking line we wont have any clean sheets....

Giovinco
Giovinco-Giovinco-Giovinco-Giovinco
Giovinco-Giovinco
Giovinco-Giovinco-Giovinco
Giovinco

Surely he'll get some playing time like that.

So, why aren't we playing 4-2-3-1 again? I mean, the only reason I can see is that our coach wants us to play with two strikers up front so badly and I'm just wondering why? Cuz Del Piero and Amauri have been sooooooooo good? Seriously, the two striker partnership isn't doing us anything this season. Its exactly the same players he will be using, same back 4, same players in midfield (Candreva, Melo, Sissoko, Diego + Giovinco). Only difference is that he has to bench one of Del Piero and Amauri and tbh both of them aren't doing anything good up there and the team would gain if one of them got benched.

Even if we play 4-2-3-1, it won't change anything. Our players don't move on the field enough to open up spaces. For that reason we do not pass the ball quickly and we become predictable and vulnerable.

no cuz we did have movement on top when we had the 3 behind the striker. diego, gio & camo linked well. diego always had 2/3 forward moving players ahead of him when he got the ball. gio's pace was also an asset.

now diego is isolated and whe he looks up all he has is 2 static fowards one of which always drops back to get the ball.

thats not entirely true
they key was not that camoranesi or giovinco did move that much more than the others in midfield, but the fact they are not vulnerable when they got noone to pass to.

the current midfielders need someone they can pass to to advance on the field... if they do not find someone to pass to because noone else is running, they are fucked and can only play it back.

giovinco and camoranesi are not these kind of midfielders, because they would not let loose of the ball to quick anyways. they always do start a dribble and go past at least one player before even remotely thinking about giving the ball to a teammate.

you could as well field 3 selfish ronaldinhos in that position and it would look better then right now, even when noone of the midfield is running, because the lack of running would not instantly block our attacking "flow"

while it might get us certain results to play with camo and gio i do not think that this is the solution for our static and non-existant passive-play

true but we are not arsenal nor are we barca or even for that matter spaletti's roma & none of our coaches have the testicular fortitude to kick these multi millionaire "professional" in the ass to ge them to move into space. I swear they go to vinovo do some gym, some plyometrics & then wither have a kick-about or twiddle thumbs til the next game.
