It doesn’t matter if that specific camera was available, they’re trying to side step that.

Remember the whole Gol di Muntari thing? VAR is supposed to stop all that - stop innocent errors and stop the potential for bias. UEFA tried the idea of having extra officials behind the goal, but went for VAR instead.

Obviously it is not innocent error if you didn't have all the camera angles why did the var referee told onfield referee to check it who was extremely happy to overturn the decision.

5 officials at the game including 1 at VAR. What a waste of resources. We should create more fuss about this. What are our directors doing? No comment from Agnelli, Nedved and co.
