needed to start the game better, otherwise no big worries.
They were slow, but I noticed that after the second goal, Juve sat back on their laurels. This is a negative attitude and a bad habit that needs nipped in the bud. We are in the CL this year and sitting back on a 1 or 2 goal lead will see us out of the CL in the first round.
The ref wasn't bad - that's a compliment -coming from me! But Parma; - What a bunch of topi sporci! :andy2: We have more than enough injuries without them assaukting our players! Glad we got one over on Donadoni though!

Last season, the back three was: Barzagli-Bonucci-Chiellini. In other words, Bonucci played in the center. He looks more comfortable in that position and you can tell he doesn't look good on the right side of that back 3. Marrone is in the center because of his composure on the ball.

So I think it would be interesting. Discovering, Marrone's ability to play well in Defense, was a masterstroke by Conte. However, I doubt he will replace Bonucci at the end of the day. I can't see him starting in defense was Chiellini and Lucio are back.
Lippi/Zambrotta anyone? :shifty:

could be several things, IMO:

- Italian football 'culture' to take it easy when the game is decided.

- was a physically demanding game.

- not yet 100 percent match fit.

agree that in Europe they will need to be careful not to become complacent.

as for the dirty way Parma played, going to be like that all season, that is the only way anyone can compete with us.
