Last season, the back three was: Barzagli-Bonucci-Chiellini. In other words, Bonucci played in the center. He looks more comfortable in that position and you can tell he doesn't look good on the right side of that back 3. Marrone is in the center because of his composure on the ball.

So I think it would be interesting. Discovering, Marrone's ability to play well in Defense, was a masterstroke by Conte. However, I doubt he will replace Bonucci at the end of the day. I can't see him starting in defense was Chiellini and Lucio are back.
Indeed.

He's out for 3weeks approx. Apparently the Juve shirt was too heavy and shortened his height to 4foot......stumpy much lol.

Yeah he's been good but its unfair to slate Bonucci based on just this game.Afterall he wasnt playing in the position he was all year last season

I'm not slating bonucci at all. But if someone is out performing you then its business as usual.

Marrone has been better so you take him out just to keep faith in a natural CB that has been up and down in the last few games?

if bonucci keeps fucking up, and loosing his concentration he must be benched. so annoyed when biabany took the ball from him, when he could have easily taken it himself. biabany is fast everyone knows that, exept sleepy bonucci

I'd definitely give him a lot of chances but i'd still trust Bonucci to play in that position Marrone is playing right now in bigger and much more important games.Besides it just one off game ffs..If bonucci continues to perform in a similar standard in more no.of games then i'd agree with you.

Gotta admit you're one hell of a knee jerker.:D

Exactly. We know he can play well, obviously. But if Marrone has been more consistent in performance, he deserves the role until Bonucci earns it back. It isn't rocket science.

Lucio & Bonucci have both been shaky, but Barz/Marrone have been great.

Though you may be accurate about the last part...you have to give Marrone credit, he has been doing marvelous as a CB.

A young lad that is a CM playing CB for Juventus in big matches and the home opener. Reminds me of Sorensen. :touched:
