- not yet 100 percent match fit.
^That

We gotta take into account our fitness level, there'll be CL this season too. It was the first match of the season. I appreciate intensity, but you don't want unnessecary injuries for just over doing things at times. 2-0 up , Parma took a hit and didn't seem to recover, players enjoyed themselves just playing the ball around. nothing wrong with the level of work-rate.

Lippi/Zambrotta anyone? :shifty:
Absolutely.

In the second half we were much better. I hope Gio is ok, but we need another forward anyway. We should also play 4-3-3 against the likes of Parma which is more offensive. Asamoah and Marchisio are worth mentioning as well as Marrone was superb tonight.

Great job from the boys to bring the result home

Votes

Storari 7 - Ready when needed
Bonucci 5,5 - Not very brilliant and concentrated today
Barzagli 6,5 - Good as always
Marrone 6,5 - Nice match considering also that he is playing in a position that is not his
Pirlo 6 - Not the one we are accoustomed to see , but he is still pirlo
Vidal 5,5 - Not in perfect condition
Marchisio 7 - Best from the middfielding trio today
Asamoah 8 - Best on the field , worth every cent we spent on him , defends until the last minute like a proper lwb , good tecnique and very intelligent tactically
Vucinic 6 - Did some good and some things really beautiful to see , but missed an easy goal (The one where he could have passed to marchisio)
Giovinco 5,5 - Didn't do much , but he also had some good moments , i am not his fan , but he can do better than this .

Generally we are not physically in top shape yet , specially the italian nationals , i also think that we have done a summer preparation to be at top shape by the time of CL
