Everyone did their thing today; Camo, Chiellini, and Grygera especially. Del Piero was a bit disappointing today, but it's what ever, he can have an off day.

I know Jack and/or Dom will do the job and they'll write a good overview so i'll just give my ratings with a sentence or two

8.00 for Camoranesi, Chiellini and Grygera. They've been perfect. Camo and Chiellini stopped countless attacks, Giorgio didn't make a single mistake while Grygera won the match for us

7.50 for Sissoko....... i said it last week and i'll say it again. Genoa's players will look under their beds tonight to see if Sissoko is there. The man is everywhere on the pitch.

7.00 for Buffon, Legrottaglie and Trezeguet. Gigi made a marvelous save on Chiellini's clearance and from then on Genoa lost motivation. Legro was really good actually. He won lots of duels tonight and cleared the danger 2 or 3 times. Trez...well, he scored.

6.50 for Zebina who gave his all. Caught out of position once or twice but good game overall

6.00 for Zanetti, Salihamidzic and Del Piero. Cristiano was again a shadow of Mommo but he did what he was supposed to do. Alex had 2 or 3 brilliant first touches, he was going back to take the ball and help buld the attacks but we expect more from him.
Sali is actually between 5.50 and 6.00. He gets a 6.00 only because he was involved for the first goal and for that great assist at the end when Iaquinta (i think) should have scored.

6.00 for our subs and 7.50 for Ranieri

Well, it was a normal reaction after the heavy defeat except that it all started slow and it looked as if Genoa were to eat us for breakfast in the opening minutes. Suddenly Grygera scored a great goal out of nowhere and sealed a great pass to Trezeguet who comes back to the scoresheet and gives Juventus two goals from game plays; something we haven't seen in ages.

Buffon 6: Didn't do much just kept the sheet clean when he was called

Zebina 6: Nice work, some reckless moments and an undeserved yellow card that will see him miss the Napoli game.
Legrottaglie 6: No mistakes, Chiellini's awsomeness made his job easier.
Chiellini 7.5: Flawless game, made all Genoa's attacks lame. Great marking, great passing and calmness which just added class to his performance.
Grygera 7: Excellent game, a goal and an assist. Exactly what we needed. He was our key player, without his moments of brilliance we might have lost hard. Can we say FGM?

Camoranesi 7.5: My MOM. He edged Chiellini because he worked more. Ball winner, distribution, holding the ball. He did everything that was needed to control the game. His second half time was one of his best performances.
Sissoko 6.5: Very good work in the middle, lots of physical presence, follows the ball all the time, good tackling, good marking but horrible passing.
Zanetti 5.5: He was tired from the beginning, he did some good stuff but the game was physical and he couldn't take it more.
Salihamidzic 5: Our worst player tonight. Simply adds nothing to the team.

Del Piero 6: Nice moves and good ball control but he didn't do much.
Trezeguet 6.5: Not much but scored a goal that probably finished Genoa off. Good work in the last minutes of the game to waste time.

Nocerino 6: Did a decent job
Tiago 5.5: He was somehow invisible but that is only because he hasn't had game play
Iaquinta 6: I think he could have done a bit better in the chances he got, but a good work killing the game.

Ranieri 7.5: Wise choices tonight, let us hope Molinaro gets demoted for Grygera and the 3 DM theory will not be repeated.

I am not happy with the team performance. We cannot allow so much missed tackles and mistakes in one game. Score could have easily been 2:2 and they were playing really shitty.
Let's hope it is because of the bad pitch (it was really awful). But I have to admit i liked the team better with Tiago/Nocerino combination in the middle. If they work out the errors they have(need more playing time together) I am sure they will be a better pair than Zanetti/Sissoko.
At the end good result - but let's see what we gonna do next week with so many players out. good thing is a lot of players would be clean after the next game for the real games that are coming.

Del Piero was really marked tightly with one man and another storming at him when he has the ball, but that backheel assist for Tre was world class
Tiago didn't do anything to convince Ranieri but maybe he will get more chances now cuz CZanetti is injured

    Grygera was brilliant at LB!!

    Feels great to win!

Sissoko was great at winning the ball back but his passing was poor.

    Who's up next for us?
