people expected some trashing like last year? that was unrealistic, this purple is much better now and besides :

we want to save energies, it's still early in the season and yet we certainly looked tired already, let's not worsen the condition

last year we didn't beat genoa chievo and the likes, this year we should focus on beating them and try not to loose against bigger teams especially away, a good trade off since it will allow us to save energies to compete on europe or we risk loosing both serie a and europe; it's better to win thrice against minnow teams while drawing against naples than winning against naples but drew thrice against chievos

giovinco practically destroying our attacking setup, yes he should be subbed with vucinic than quaq
:tip:

Valid points.

shoulda lost this one imo, very flat performance and viola to their credit showed up to play, 2 notes for me:

giacch cant start against good teams
many of licht incursions cant be captalized without the presence of aerial threat

So we played terribly? Were there any highlights? People need to calm down with Giovinco though, evidently the team played shit, he will find his way. Who were our better players?

Asamoah defo MoM, he was miles ahead of everyone else in this match. If anyone is still defending Gio's performance in this match, sorry, the boy no doubt has skills but time and time again he's completely helpless against bigger, stronger defenders, and I mean utterly helpless.

Giach and Gio are completely useless against stronger MFs and defenders. For Giach its understandable some how, he has poor skills when it comes to trap the ball and keeping it, while I expect something better from the other half-man.

We should learn in the future that playing with 2 half-men will make us only field 10 players, its certainly disadvantageous.

I gave it to Chiellini because of some crucial blocks, and he's starting to pick up his usual monster form. Asa was also one of the few better players but I expected him to make it more difficult for Curdado, it was an even contest between the two. (Tho Curdado's a decent player himself, noticed him last season at lecce and he usually plays at a good level whenever I watch him)

Gio was lively at the first 10mins or so, but a couple of bad touches put him off again for the entire match.. I don't why he brings this much pressure upon himself after a few fck ups he becomes so nervous it's rather obvious.

Agreed it was pretty even between Asamoah and Cuadrado, I enjoyed watching that duel :D although I do think Asa came out on top, and he had some impressive tackles winning the ball back and that electrifying pace! Poor Licht on the other side looked quite the opposite.

because of parma itself, teams and players don't play against parma the same way they do as against the undefeated champions and apparently the most hated team as well

the midget will be much better as a sub operated mainly on side than as main ss operated on center

size does matter, if messi, neymar and ronaldo have this midget body, I bet they will be much worse than they are now
