From merda forum:"Someone earlier today was telling me about the gap between Juventus and the rest of the league thatthey can steamroll Empoli so quickly and win all their games but it isn't that simle. It was also Sarri who said the look in the eyes of the Juve players before the game was different than the look on the eyes of any other team in the league. All the players that sign for Juventus talk about an environment where winning is the only option and everything is extremely well organized. I don't know how we'd bring that to Inter but we need that if we want to ever challenge for titles."

Don't bother. They will never accomplish that.Especially not with "Folza Inda" owners.Fucking merda .Most pathetic fans and club in the world.

The answer is you need the right personalities off the field as much as on the field. I suspect that people like Buffon, Chiellini, Bonucci, Marchisio for example play a very important role in getting the right mentality across to the relatively newer members of the squad.
Yeah, Pirlo wrote as much in his book.

We had winners on the team before but in my opinion Conte deserves most of the credit for this team having that winning attitude.

The quote from one player's book about Buffon talking about the bonuses for the Scudetto after it was won and Conte lashing out at Buffon in front of the whole team because there was still one match to go to break the 100 point barrier is exactly why the team is the way it is.

That story showed me how much of an egomaniac and weirdo he is more than anything. Also, his stupid obsession with that useless 100 point record pretty much spoilt a very rare chance for us to play a European final at our own stadium.

Get over Conte, it's coming up to three years since he's been gone. This team has forged another identity now.

I agree, but we cant deny the importance of Conte returning that winning spirit. We do everything else much better now, but that winning spirit is still what he brought.

It is what Milan and Inter sorely lack

Yep. He definitely did bring some of that mentality back. But he was also heavily backed by an amazing board which delivered him fantastic players to help him make us a juggernaut in Italy and a rising force in Europe.

Yeah, it was a sum of the right ingredients.

Would be good for italian football if he went to Milan (with their new italian players cause too poor to buy foreign), or Sassuolo tbh

It is just the fact that he doesn't accept mediocrity. I agree he fucked up against Benfica there is no denying that. However as you said it was a combination of him and the board giving him the right tools to succeed.

For example if we had Mancini instead of Conte at that time with the same board I dont think we would have been even half as successful in the last 5 years.

No other team in Italy has that will to win like Juve and Conte played a big part in it.

Iirc Buffon was talking about bonuses at HT. If that is correct then Conte did nothing wrong, at all.

Didn't they say this was staged just for effect?
