The team has no spine, the talent is not enough to make things work, you need will and right mentality, Pjanic and Higuain lack those. A formation change won't help either as we don't have the right players for that, we'll have to sacrifice even more backbone to do that. Things don't look bright at all even if it's only the fifth match of the season

Both have been pretty poor for some time now. Need to be dropped.

Injuries always happen. It is better to play a youngster from the lesser teams than players that will see a game one in a full moon. Players like Giaccerini - who are at 100% even if they enter after 6 months absence are very rare.

I appreciate the depth idea - but ours is CRAZY. New contracts for 3 CBs, new CB and no one can tell you who is planning to be a starter. Most likely we will end with disgruntled top youngster (Rugani) and players like Chiellini on the bench...

PS: Vice-captains are very important bench members. Captaining us from the bench, I suppose? Not to mention he would never get to be our captain, just clutch timing.

In FM - maybe. In the real world it isn't that simple. Remember, that the most important thing a player does is improving - if you can do that with half the games that would be great, but for most it won't work like that. Consistency is the trademark of the top players.

Do you honestly believe that being benched here with say 15 games per year would improve Rugani better, than had he gone to something like Napoli doing 40+?

Menatility, tactical and approaching switch needed. A tactical formation would spice things too.

The worrying thing is that we have sturaro and marchisio injured... and now asamoah is a proven failure...Pjanic playing sub par and Khedira wasting goals and dissapearing.

Our midfield is HUGE problem and we need to take in consideration at the veary least stop playing midfield intended formations like the 352 while we have this abysmal quality.

Continue relying on this midfield is nonsense.

We will need like a prime pirlo and prime vidal to bail this fukers.
