We should do two better than Bundesfodda and reduce to 16 teams. 30 matches a season would be perfect.

Bet Allegri would still use energy-conservation tactics though. :D
Never gonna happen doe 'cause for some reason TV-stations have decided it's a good idea to overflow the market. Look at games moved for broadcasting in this round: Bologna - Genoa, Inter - Benevento, Crotone - SPAL, Juve - Atalanta, Roma - Milan (most interesting, but a shitty game still) and Cagliari - Napoli.

Why the fuck on earth should a neutral fan ever watch Serie A?

- - - Updated - - -

The most popular league in thw world usually move 4-5 games for broadcasting. Why on earth does the Serie A clubs, FIGC and SKY (and the rest) think it's a good idea to move 6 games..

Keep fans interested, keep them wanting more, keep them intrigued. Don't stuff them with mediocre football.

I actually don't think a return to 16-18 teams would be such a bad idea. Increase demands for infrastructure to compete in Serie A, fewer teams to compete for sponsorships, fewer games = fewer players on contract, create a hype around sunday evening 20.45, sunday afternoon around 15.00, saturday evening around 20.45.

Just get this league going again, so I can fall in love again with Calcio. Golden age syndrome sad.

18 is perfect for Serie A.
Or for any other league tbh. Wonder why 20 was chosen as the go-to number in the first place?
More games more tv time more money

Like what UEFA did with the EURO and what FIFA are potentially planning with the WC(which would be a disaster)

All the bitches shitting on Serie A’s quality

Serie A is the best it’s been in a decade. Juve is a European elite get the most real challenge by a Napoli side earning record point. Lazio, Roma, Milan, and Inter form strong completion for the two CL places and are only slightly weaker than the likes of Pool, Spurs, Chelsea, and United and even that is debatable. And outside of that we have teams like Samp and Atalanta that have good teams which can make noise in Europe.

Stop complaining
Elite teams keep their best players
