I just hate those clubs without tradion, history and with sudden income of money (city, chelsea..). They are cancer of modern football. Can't wait for FFP.
As much as I understand the roots of what you are saying, DP, I would never allow such fruit to blossom. Because...

I have followed the premiership for many years, since its inception and before. As a neutral, who only ever shows a fondness towards a Style, due to the fact that the english team i was unfortunately nurtured nearby, was Gillingham...my teams since 19 years ago have been Juve and the wretched Gills. So I have been able to enjoy the premiership with an unbiased eye. Yes...I have always liked fulham, mainly due to their style and the managers they bring in...coleman, hodgson, hughes...to me, those managers have a definite class about them, in varying ways. Anyway, chelsea suddenly becoming not just a challenger, but a winner, creating a team rather quickly of world class players, with decent management at all levels, has been fun and enjoyable to witness. Simply putting the likes of drogba, lampard, ballack, cech, terry and essien together, makes me, as a neutral, far from eager to denounce how such an often, in the past, spectacle of high quality football, should be condemned, due to the resources behind what created it in the first place.

I am no fan of Chelsea. But in recent years, obviously not this season, their team was one of the best i had ever seen. Not always brimming with flair, like the Barca of today, but a machine...of all parts working at worst, cohesively and competently together.

I am no fan of any premeirship team, although i like the manager and hardy style of fulham, the manager and pretty football he demands, of arsenal, the flair and vitality of Man United...the close to lunatic efforts of the manager to stick to technique and beauty, and determined effort for the squad to respond, of wigan. Chelsea have made things interesting, and have produced passages of form, so perfect, that i have seen very few teams match, in all my years of watching football.

As for City...Its wicked to see some of the players they have purchased, playing in the premiership...I highly doubt that even as recently as two years back, charlie adam thought he would be facing yaya- fucking- toure. Kolarov, Silva, Milner, Johnson, Tevez, Dzeko, Barry, Kompany, Balotelli...i enjoy seeing decent players playing together.

Much of the previous success of Juventus, is down to the spending power, and connections, of the Agnellis. A shame that the Gills are stuck with a fuking Scally eh!

And what were Juve like before the Agnelli's started funding the club?

Why is it a problem for folk to get a cash in 2010 instead of 1910?

Everyone has to start somewhere.

I don't regard their football spectacular rather boring if you ask me. Like most Englesh teams with exception of Arsenal they prefer strength over tecnique. Yes they have interesting and talented players but still their style of play is something I don't like. Every time when I had watched them I would lose concentracion after few minutes.
Well said but there is big difference when you spend money over decades and build strong team, and if you do it in one or two seasons, and if you talk about big spending Juve was never one of those teams. It feels like cheating to me when a club spends over 200 million euros in a single season

I see what you're saying, although Juve is quite a bad example considering the Agnelli's took over in 1923 when the club, calcio, and football as a whole was still in its infancy. Juventus also had success in that short period beforehand too.

Yeah, Juve aren't the best example, but I don't see why old money is fine but new money is a problem.

So here's the deal: Anywhere Aguero will end up it'll be on on 7 mln++++ wages (In Italy it'll be 15 mln+++++ because of the taxes)

Our highest earner if I am not mistaking is Gigi Buffon on somewhere between 5-6 mln and he'll have to take a paycut this summer.

So our higest earner will be on 15 and second higest earner on 3-4? Unrealistic. Not happening guys, forget Aguero.
Focus on Pastore, he's far more realistic.
Gigi earns 6mln which is 12mln with tax.

edit: too late..

Agüero announced its intention to Miguel Angel Gil Marin · He decided to play in RM and he's ready for everything. · Front representatives were scheduled to hold a meeting this week with Real Madrid

Benzema, Higuain, Aguero, Ronaldo, Adebayor(if they sign him), Di Maria, Kaka, Ozil, Canales, Sahin etc.

This is absolutely ridiculous. What are they trying to do, to get Real Madrid B to get promoted to la Liga(even if they can't)?

Ibra/Falcao > Aguero

For Real Madrid ofc. Damn, i really thought Mou wouldn't let me down in this one. He used to buy his players for the team and not for the marketing approach. :frown:

How is that possible? He wants to leave to Real, but previously he signed a deal preventing his arrival to them? Wtf, there's something wrong in this story.

I can't imagine he signed anything saying he wouldn't join Real Madrid.

More likely there is some sort of informal agreement in place, that could be broken without any real consequences.

There are so many quality players left for us to grab up to if it isn't going to be Aguero.

Hazard
Coentrao
Pastore
Sanchéz
Benzema
Giuseppe Rossi

I feel like he might reconsider as it would betray the fans that adored him for the last 5 years. But that's just my optimism coming out.
