we shouldnt go for aguero as he obviously doesnt want us

not much you can blame marotta for, refusing to overpay

not that much diffrence between him and rossi

and considering the hype in italy considering the prospect of signing rossi, we might aswel get a much better commercial result friom that then previously considered
Well, since you say so then. Good thing we have you to be 100% certain.

Its not over at all, but its a reality check for many of the deillusioned posters here, Aguero is waiting for better options. Our shot is he doesnt get any other options. It depends on other marquee strikers moving from their clubs or not. One sale of a top striker in a big club can stat a domino effect of transfers, that wouldnt be good for our chances with him.
El Apache. I was never among those wanking themselves off to this, but I certainly don't believe that there won't be any last ditch efforts to rescue the deal from our management, too big an opportunity for them to lose.

I don't get all of this commotion, we are waiting till after the copa to see what happens, this has been and will still continue to be the case. Unless we of course sign Rossi which defacto rules us out. The Rossi factor is far more important than whatever reports are given because as we have seen they are pretty much BS as are all of these VS 'Gurus'. Untill Aguero states he wouldn't join us or we sign Rossi there's still a window. Even if Marotta is incompetant.

Hence, you don't really know. Indeed Marotta did specify the tax angle, in which implied Aguero's wages would be (or could be) too much for us. From which I deduce, no agreement was reached and the breaking point was Aguero's wage demands.
And this right here was the biggest clue we received during this entire saga. Marotta, almost literally, saying that we would or could not meet Aguero's wage demands.

Janna and her "athletico madrid friend"

Nicholas and his "He doesnt want england and it is done deal after copa america"
At least a valuable lesson is learned and now we have some clue who to listen and trust.

To be honest, only you and Mark proved to be reliable. Too bad he doesn't post much and you don't cover more than one transfer.
Anything new with our friend from yesterday?

So, all that's left apparently from this mercato is Rossi, Vidal and ???

Who was this Christophe Bellus guy that FI mentioned earlier?

Some members should be made to remove their shoelaces and belts before entering this thread, in fact whoever started the thread could be convicted for assisted suicide!

We all knew deep down that this was never gonna happen, it was however nice to believe again that we could possibly still attract big name players, even if it were only for a short while
