Well, some things are clear
-We were not a first choice, and he was waiting for a team like barca, madrid, or united to make a move.... and we cannot blame him for that.
-Marotta had a tough deal, and to fulfill it this Juventus would have to overpay, and to pay astronomic salaries that we are not used to. Not to mention the discontent it would cause in the team because lets be sincere, even for a player like aguero, those salaries were just obsene for Juventus.
-We cannot attract big names anymore. To regain that privilege we will need to grind it by making to the top of the league, and also the league itself needs to go up to the standards of spain and england to improve our chances....(this last point will not happen soon tho,).
So well, i think it was GG for us in the aguero saga, and unless no one makes a bid, i think we are out of the race. Not to mention that im pretty sure marotta and Agnelli dont like to be treated like a third option club (even when its true) and they want to keep their honor in the deal it seems.
