All of the above. How can we be publicly linked with a player for months and the media treats it like a sure-fire signing and then out of the blue, Chelsea come in and sign him straight up without ever having been linked with him before.

Someone at Juve (*cough*Secco*cough*) f'ed this one up big time. After courting him for so long we should have at least been able to give Ivanovic something to think about when Chelski recklessly threw him a contract offer.
