Does anyone think he might work great with someone like Bendtner in front of him?
I am curious that it might actually produce something interesting at least...

some nice dribbling runs, but selfish, no end product , and missed a huge chance. no link up with quag, and that was partly gios fawlt.
I couldn't fault him too much for being selfish when he was getting little support up top.

He has it all, the pace, technique, dribble skills.... but lack one thing to develop into world class player, which is "Class"
He doesn't have it all. For starters his first touch and control is atrocious. That said he has been pretty good lately. As long as it's not alongside Vucinic, I don't mind him starting (Even though I do prefer Vucinic to start).

how can you not mind him starting whens hes pretty useless when he does, cant hold up play, cant counter, cant receive long passes, and doesnt add anything to play(no gols no assists)
It was Giovinco's shot that got blocked by Campagnaro and Pogba scored from it you know?

He's my MoM, he looked very dangerous and ambitious. It's just the same all the time: he's not suited for playing with defenders on his back. He's very good on the left flank when he cuts in to shoot with his right foot (just like the first one vs Naples last night). This way he should be used more. Give him more free role and move him a bit closer to the wing. He's still our best scorer in Serie A this season.

Good display, keep it coming!

1. Giovinco took an impossible shot, it blocked back and Pogba made the most of it with a volley. Giovinco deserves 0 merit for that goal, that was all the P-man.

2. He is our joint top scorer, but all three of his goals were fairly irrelevant as we had won the games by then.

1. It's good he took that shot. He was the only threat in our attacking line for the whole match as Quag and Matri both barely did anything. It didn't go as he thought but saying he deserves nothing for it is bullshit. He took the ball carried it to their penalty area and gave it a chance. He's nowhere near Vucinic but he was one of our brightest players on the pitch last night.

2. It's something we really lacked last season. Remind me how many times last season we lost points because of our inability to finish our opponent off? There were a few at least. His goals gave us breath in both matches. We could save energy instead of conceding a late goal and then rush for goal again when it's 5 minutes left.

Correct me if im wrong, but if it wasn't for giovinco, we would be 56 games unbeaten right now. Before he scored against us with parma in our last loss, were we not on like a 8 game undefeated streak in 2010/11?
