no he didn't  he is already as expected to somewhat shine in games like that when he came as a sub in an already won game with plenty of open spaces just as buffon is expected to be our #1 keeper... that means little to nothing.

the midget is totally unimpressive against decent teams we have played so far.

3 fluke goals against teams that already lost, is not going to prove anything to his doubters.
I don't understand the hate he gets. He gives us what we lacked last season so bad. He's finishing our opponents off yet there are people who complain. Udinese and Roma are good teams and we needed those goals a lot. Take a look at the situation we had yesterday. We get easy 3-0 in 10 minutes and in the second half our players thought the match is already won. Roma got penalty and after that they had a couple of good situations to score again. He got in as a sub and scored making Roma lost their hope. He's done his job.

He's a good squad player and I'm happy he's with us.

Let's take it easy in this thread now :p

Anyway, he's obviously very far away from his normal standard and needs to play a whole lot better to be near the player he was at Parma. But still with all the shit we've given him he's still actually our leading goalscorer in Serie A.

Hopefully he'll be fine.
Hasn't Vidal scored more?

He was playing much better last season with Parma. Obviously, he had less pressure over there and the whole team was playing for him but there is no reason to think that he won't replicate his Parma form sooner or later, unless he is mentally weak and cannot cope with expectations.

Give him time.

at parma, he was making most of the space he got, cause the other team was usually attacking, giving away space.

Each game he did wel for juve, were games were he was allowed the space.

This season he can challenge for a spot next to Mirko. If we are to get a new striker, we shouldnt sell Giovinco. We should keep him for when we are leading the game and decide to lean back and counter. He will trive in such circumstances

That is a fair point. Yes, it remains to be seen whether he can adapt to possession football with restricted space. He has struggled in that system so far as far as his overall play is concerned but I think he will improve significantly.

Still haven't been convinced by Gio yet though he seems to be on his way to be something big here... but feel bad Marchisio got a free ride as Juventus was feeding the propaganda back then with Marhisio. Gio got shoveled shit and worked his ass off to get a piece of what Juventus was dangling in his face (part of the roster or starting line up)
