I think cost was one factor, not enough teams could afford it, or so they said. Albertini proposed it, also for the teams who want it to have 'B' teams like in Spain. This would probably suit half the teams in Serie A, especially the top 6 or 7.

The thing worth remembering with Criscito is that he was never Juventino, he is Neapolitan and from the Genoa system, so there is no alliegence to us. For many of these other lads they are from Turin and have been with the club since they were very young, the chance to play for this club is of the most importance to them, Criscito was happy anywhere he could play, especially Genoa.

We gave him a chance, he failed.
As a result, we gave him the choice between being a bench warmer the rest of the season (& possibly regaining his place) or playing elsewhere.
He went for the 2nd option.

Criscito is average at best, so it was a great from him that he didn't want to come back.

If Giovinco shines and Juve want him back, they would tell him that he's coming back to play and he'd prefer to play with Juventus much more than at Parma.

But what is a proper chance? How long should the club try? There's really no way of knowing that, is there?
And considering that Criscito really hasn't progressed like most people (myself included) had thought, I don't think we messed this up.

Plus, the fact remains, he started the season as a regular, lost his place and instead of fighting to win it back he choose to leave.
